He also has a twin brother who is good, although not as highly rated.(Not sure if we want to go down the twins route again though. )bigappleram wrote: ↑1 year ago Intriguing prospect with that size and skill set.
Borderline 3/4 star per 247 for those people who care about that sort of thing.

The Dunkley-Distant twins and Orangeville Prep will be playing at the NPSI at RIC in a few weeks if anybody is interested in watching them. I'm not sure if any of our other recruits will be there by looking at the schedule. Ramster or Steveystuds, do you see any?

Recruiting is stealth, as much as possible, here now. There are good reasons for that from a Poker playing standpoint. For sure URi is eyeing some in this event as they do most every year.Billyboy78 wrote: ↑1 year agoThe Dunkley-Distant twins and Orangeville Prep will be playing at the NPSI at RIC in a few weeks if anybody is interested in watching them. Of interest in Day 2 last year at NPSI/RIC was Mt Zion vs Orangeburg Prep
RJ Luis had 21 points. Luis just got A10 Rookie of the Week announced yesterday. Foumena had 22 points - let that sink in
I like Thursday morning, Friday mid-day and all Friday night

This is a quote from Austin Carroll from an interview he just did with Chris Disano.
Always recruiting. I’d say our recruiting shifted three or four months ago after signing Cam (Estevez) and Connor (Dubsky), we decided the high school area is pretty much taken care of for now, so focusing on JUCO and transfer portal opportunities.

Bishop Walsh plays in the NIBC. Top competition
Starts, top rebounder on Bishop Walsh
He is 3rd in rebounding in NIBC. Top National League.
Like this offer
Go more by the level of play the team competes at and how the player ranks on his own team and what he is doing now

Yesterday he scored 26 pts (9-13, 8-8 FT) and 16 rebounds.
This player really intrigues me plus he has 3 years eligibility.

The daily "Top 10s" almost always have a couple highlights from all different levels and sports. Like some Rhode Island high school teams will make it on there for buzzer beaters. For January, you don't really have much football to use, so it doesn't surprise me that this was in there.

Recruiting thread, my lonely eyes turn to you.

Really intriguing prospect...his brother is a pro in Japan.
Newman is starting to come on as a regional power.
Umass heavily involved as well.
My good friend took his son to Newman for a visit and Rhody and Umass coaches were in the gym.

A lot of his points come at the rim. That's why the 5'11" is a concern. He'll have to change his game a bit.

Good recent intel in here and video. Interesting.
Looks quick with the ball, has a good handle, keeps his head up.
Any current comps ? A quicker, more athletic Foster Loyer type, maybe ?

Re: General High School Recruiting Discussion/Comments 2022-23
Luka is a great floor general. The few times I saw him play, he had some absolutely ridiculous assists. He is a creative passer. Very strong in the pick and roll. He will need to add a lot of bulk to his frame because D1 guards will bully him. When I first saw him I thought he looked more like a low-major player but he seems to be getting better and better...It wouldn't surprise me to see him play in the A10.
