Great job. They must have put some of the freshman in charge of the broadcast.

Cox said we had no help from Georgetown with Walker’s waiver and that made the difference.

In other news, it’s good to see that Georgetown is being drilled at home by Mount St. Mary’s. Down by 17 with 17 1/2 minutes left in the second half. Karma is a bitch.

Great chance this weekend to bash Ewing and Georgetown when talking to the press in the DMV area. Go for it Coach.

Cox coached Ewing’s kid at G’town. He has a lot of respect for him and the family. It’s business. Shitty business, but business.

Lots of good that respect did him with Walker. Granted I’m petty AF, but I would probably drag Ewing and his kid for good measure to anyone that would listen to me.

Business is personal. Especially when your business is winning basketball games and that job became harder bc a colleague in the coaching industry (and father of a former player of yours) took away a potential asset for you (Walker).

You would think since Ewing’s kid played for Cox that Gtown wouldn’t be so petty about this , bad ball GTown rooting against you guys except when play PC , I want to pin a loss on those Friars

More reason to absolutely hate Ewing and Georgetown. Imagine mighty Georgetown worrying about little Rhody as far as a NCAA bid is concerned and holding a grudge against a kid they threw out of school. F--K THEM.

I think it is shitty that they think nothing of ruining a kids hopes and success this year. Whatever happened with Walker there, at the end of the day we have to remind ourselves that they are kids. Kids do stupid and impulsive things.

Not returning calls from Cox or Thorr (AD to AD) when Georgetown hadn’t sent the paperwork back to the NCAA. The coaching fraternity is a close knit group. To treat someone like Cox (a good guy) that poorly doesn’t look good on Ewing. The coaches talk to one another during the year (AAU Tournaments etc). Other coaches will know that Ewing treated Cox unprofessionally.

The NCAA should have taken into account the fact that the paperwork was held up by Georgetown.

That's my take on this.

Worst venue yet. Sat one table from the broadcast table and couldn’t make out a word they said. People at the bar clearly were over served, loud and disinterested in basketball. Ceilings were too high so acoustics were not prime. I guess I will have to listen to the podcast. At least the food was decent.

Doesn’t look like any 210 this season. Red Parrot is not handicapped accessible as far as I remember since the last show was on the upper level.

Oh, cackling over-served people are my favorite  That’s what I’ve heard about that place from a lot of people. Hands down I’ve yet to see a better spot than the Mews for these shows.

The one big thing I thought was interesting was that Cox has Harris playing the five early in the game and Cyril playing the four. Apparently he wants Harris banging down low early to keep the offense honest.

Did Cox mention that on the show?
For sure I noticed Harris down low on defense along with Langevine. I thought they combined to form an intimidating tandem vs Alabama. I liked it but didn’t realize Cox had made an official position change.
I thought the two bigs looked good when together and also why I was bewildered by posters wanting Harris out of the starting line up and to stop shooting 3Ps.

This is why these Coaching shows are helpful to understand the HC points of view.

Mine too. I saw it in action vs Alabama but even better that Cox confirmed Harris officially at Center and even better for me that Cox is encouraging Harris to take 3Ps.
