Agree. Watching Michigan State this year, and you can see
where they're hurt by not having a shooter.
Makes it tough to come back, when you're down by more than four or five
points.
Also helps spread the defense.
Other than Williams, no clue who's being recruited for the last two spots.
Transfers are starting to pop up, and more to come.
As BGB pointed out before, it may be that a grad student transfer might fit the bill.

The grad student rule is one of the few things that the NCAA has gotten right. Reward kids for getting their degree and even trying to start a grad degree. If the staff could find a guy like Jake O'Brien, that would be great. Graduated from BU, transferred to Temple, plays 20 minutes per game and shot 43% from 3 this year. It also doesn't clog up a scholarship for more than that one year.

Completely agree.

Nice video, but he needs to pronounce Aaman's name correctly.

Biruta alone makes this a much better team. Add the other 5 new guys and possibly a 6th and 7th, and this is now both a talented and deep team. I still can't believe what I saw from Biruta at Madness, an instant impact player.

Biruta can do amazing things for a big guy.
Watch the HORSE game he plays with the other transfers.
It's no contest. He does things with the ball that Biggie couldn't
come close to doing.
This is the first time I heard anyone suggest Reischel as a PG type.
I think he's going to be the biggest surprise of the four. He's like our
Swiss Army Knife player. Does a little of everything.

I hope Reischel can be a swingman transfer like Abdul Fox. I loved to watch him play.

Reischel, in the only time I saw him play, at Madness, looked long, athletic and pretty strong. He seemed to do everything pretty well. I would think he could play 2, or even possibly 3 different positions.

Which brings up a good question. Who will be the captain(s) for the '13-'14 team? X will be the only senior, Powell and TJ the only two with 2 years time on the team.

Do we have any OOC games scheduled for next year at this point?

I presume you mean other than PC and Brown, which are a given.

BTW, not sure how long he's had it set up this way, but Dan (or the Athletic Dept) has tweaked his Twitter account's look. New background image showing Narragansett beach looking towards The Towers. Also, he's got a new EMBRACE SOLUTIONS branded account banner. Notice how Sections 110, 111 and 112 are covered in white. Is this where students may be allowed to be in addition to end-zone? Probably reading too much into this, but I don't know how to explain the white covering of those particular sections.

EDIT: Nevermind! That's the reflection from the aluminum flooring when the seats are all in the folded up position. (DUH!)

Rats! I have no reason to be at the Ryan, and
so not any communication with anyone, lately.
If anyone runs into Dan or Daryl, they always will
give you a straight answer to any questions.
Is there going to be a year end dinner, as they always do?
