Unread post by Brian Forster »

Why is the FB team using the game surface for practice ?
There would have to be some wear and tear?
anybody know?

Early on there was snow in the ground, you’re not plowing a grass
field. All the other non indoor practice field CAA teams are doing the same.

In addition to the previous points, potential wear and tear on the stadium field is much lighter than potential wear and tear on the practice field this time of year and with no games on natural grass it makes sense to simulate game conditions as close as possible
Take down the Robert Carothers banner and fix the concession stand lines

Spring is a tough time if we get mild temps, which lead to a sloppy grass field.

The practice fields are fine. By using Meade they are walking on the backs of their shoes.
The din is for more seperate facilities, not less.
