We usually change Jerseys every two to three years, so it could happen this year.

I do like our current jerseys though.

Down 7-2 after 1. They've kept our offense in check early on. Bryant transfer Jarett Martin makes the tackle in the end zone for the safety. Brandon Robinson in at QB getting a series.

Touchdown URI as Hill hits Frimpong in the end zone. Due to the safety, we go for 2 and get it with a reverse to Pires. Rams up 10-7.

The announcers have spent most of the first half confused about the Hill/Robinson switch. While Hill seems to be limping a bit, last week Robinson rotated in for a series, so it doesn't appear to be more to it.

Frimpong is a stud. Brown is explosive and does a good job finishing runs. Hill seems to be a major upgrade from last year, while Robinson is an interesting change of pace. Defense has looked better this week as well. Two well placed punts have helped. Twice today we've had Caleb Warren streaking down the middle of the field, just to slightly miss the connection.

10-7 URI. Very nice coaching in punting down inside the 10, playing great defense to hold then receive the Albany punt about the Albany 36. Good calls on the drive with a beautiful pass and catch from Hill to Ivory Frimpong. Frimpong is looking very good this season to date.
Nice call to score the 2 point conversion.

Albany has been able to move the ball in the air, but just after a fairly big reception, Towson transfer Cody Tippett comes up with a huge pick after a tipped pass. Rams take over with 4 minutes to go with the ball on their own 40.

Seems like Zoe Bryant is out for the game. Justice Antrum has been rotating in, especially on 3rd down. Hill limps off the field for the final play of the drive before punting back to Albany. They have the ball with 1:16 remaining at their own 30.

Another interception by freshman #8 Antonio Carter II in the end zone to end the half. Kept Albany from kicking a field goal to tie.

URI with their second interception, this time by Antonio Carter in the end zone as Albany was driving. The INT denies Albany the chance to attempt to tie with a FG. Albany's been able to move the ball particularly in the air, nearing 200 yards. Despite this and the one score, we've been able to avoid the big play, and forced two timely turnovers. Should be an interesting second half.

Yea I was a bit surprised at how expensive the subscription was, especially compared to the sports subscriptions I already I have like ESPN + and DAZN. Also a tough look that the season is 5 weeks long, so it will require 2 months of payment. Oh well, it is what it is. I wont be spending any money this season on tickets, so it's all good.

Big sack by the freshman Westkey Neal to force a punt on 3rd and 4 from the 50. Westley is a true freshman, and was a 4 star recruit coming out of high school.
URI takes over around the 30 with 5 minutes left.

Would love to see a long drive here that drains the clock. Albany has 5 sacks to stall out our offense in the second half.

Good start to OT. Kasim Hill keeps it in an RPO and runs the 25 yards to the end zone. XP is good. Albany takes over needing a TD to keep them alive.

I really like the play of Jordan Jones, the transfer from Nassau Community College. I wasn't sure who had the coverage for URI on that last 4th down pass by Albany as they didn't't show the replay and I didn't quite make out the number of our defender. Was that Jones?
Tippett is a great addition to the defense, as is Neal.

Got to love holding Albany to 10 points today. Solid punting is a plus this season too.

Exceptional Job by the Defense. So many big plays. We didn't beat ourselves and Kasim made the big run In OT. I loved how loud our bench was on that last defensive stand. Two great road wins. Impressed with how many kids are making plays.

Great question. Just like you, I couldnt make it out, and I was looking around for a potential flag. Holmes and Carter also seemed to make plays in the secondary as well.

In addition to Tippett, Stewart has been a huge addition. Did a good job tackling in space. Made a nice play on 3rd down.

Oh yes, absolutely Stewart is a big plus to this team.

I thought it was a well coached game defensively. Many plays we seemed to hit the receiver just as the ball arrived and yet no flag was thrown. There were several plays that I thought we could have been called for pass interference but we did not - credit to the timing of the pass defenders.

This game is not a guaranteed dub, just cuz we beat two ranked teams on the road and this week is at home.

Reality is there are four more freaking wars on the horizon, and we might have to go 4-0...

God I hope we do it and make the playoffs!!! The games at Meade in '84 and '85 were SICK!!!
