Super athletic. Signed with Richard Pitino at FL. Int.
Was a three star in high school. Must've been academic problems.

Just to clarify, nothing definitive connecting us to him but his VerbalCommits page has a tweet from him that gives an answer of "Rhode Island and Western Kentucky" to a question (I don't know the question). He is scheduled to visit Western Kentucky this weekend.
Also, everything is showing him being from Florida but his Twitter page shows his hometown as Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Certainly fits what the need is for a wing scorer. 47.3% from 3, 53% overall.
He rebounds well, too.
Starting to see a slew of new names, some of whom seem very interesting.

How bizarre would this be. The son of the player who choked P.J. Carlemiso, who almost drove Hurley over the edge.

Hey, maybe Latrell and Bill Murray could hang out together. Here's more recent video of him.

Since we know he's visiting Western Ky., the question to the answer "Rhode Island & Western Kentucky," had to be either what schools will you be visiting or what schools are you considering. I don't like reading between the lines on Twitter, but that seems pretty safe to me.

This could be interesting...really good %s, but didn't take a whole lot of 3s, it doesn't seem to be a major component of his game.

He just jumped to the top of my personal list of 2/3s that we're looking at, given how bleak that picture seems to be right now.

Not that it means anything, but I really like
Kanayo Obi-Rapu.
His handle is off the charts, he shoots at a high percentage,
and he's a four year player without any baggage.

@Spree_Breezy Are you kidding? WKU in Hoop-crazy state. NCAA record is 15-23 with several Sweet 16s and 1 Final Four. Rhode Island is 6-8.

The good news is he favorited Koch's tweet about Garrett signing, the bad news is he retweeted some old Western Kentucky guy's tweet comparing their Tournament record to ours (lets be honest, neither is impressive).

I like how recruits are following Koch, and Bill doesn't
even like to get into recruiting.
I'd rather have WKU's NCAA record to be honest.

Latrell's nephew playing for Hurley could possibly make my head explode. It would also make me smile, as would beating out Western Kentucky ('93 NCAA tournament).

Nothing's stopping a person from writing a tweet like "Player X (but don't use their handle) would look great in the backcourt next to EC"
Then, a player searches for himself (because they do that) and finds it.

But personally, I don't choose to use social media like that- too weird for me.

"On the defensive end Sprewell spends night in and night out defending the other team's best offensive perimeter threat."

Perimeter defense? It's certainly on the wish list.

He also got into it with some UAB rubes over tweeting to Gustys.

You can ban me. I don't care. I'm tired of fans of other schools smooching up to our recruits, and us sitting back and watching them get scooped up. The NCAA is doing nothing about this. I believe in a level playing field.

You are right. This goes on unabated, despite NCAA

I'm with you billyboy, keep tweeting.

Who cares about the NCAA and there assanine rules, they can't even control coaches and schools so it would be ludicrous for them to start putting sanctions in place over tweets. If they do start then the NCAA better be prepared to put sanctions in place for every D1 football and basketball program.

Also, the folks here defending the no tweeting rule are a bunch of wet blankets. Like tweeting to prospective recruits doesn't happen at every school.

To hell with the NCAA and there idiotic rulebook. For the record, I don't even have a twitter account, I'm just sick of hearing about this bullshit rule.

And I know that tweets make very little difference to a recruit's decision. But if it's .000001% of a decision, it needs to be, like I said, an even playing field.

Smarty tweeted that it's down to WKy and URI. I would assume URI will get a visit next week and then he'll make up his mind.

Got that from here:

Bill Koch had tweeted the same, and even had some quotes from Sprewell about it (I believe one was, "There's no timetable for his decision."), but those tweets have mysteriously disappeared? Weird.
