StC, it looks like there are seats open now in 302, 207, and 208.

Re: PC/URI tickets going FAST
Looks like they just released some tickets. There are a few groups together now in the 200s, which wasn't the case for the last week or so.

Re: PC/URI tickets going FAST
I'm guessing those released were a part of unsold mini-plans that are finally being sold individually. My mini-plan is in 207, so that's what I think.

Re: PC/URI tickets going FAST
they released the handicap seats to everyone and I agree with Billy, it is probably the unsold mini plans (5 game plan that included PC)

Re: PC/URI tickets going FAST
Its a pretty common practice for all sporting events. Some tickets are always held back until usually about 24 hours before the game. Sometimes they are comp tickets or like you guys said wheelchair or were part of some package that is no longer available.

Yup. I'm familiar with event ticketing. Just noting that there are now some seats to be had for anyone with the desire to purchase some.

They won't last long. If anything, the scalpers will swoop in.

Re: PC/URI tickets going FAST
I started coming to URI in 2010. Will this be the most packed I have ever seen the Ryan Center?

The blizzard game was the best URI/PC game ever played at the Ryan Center. Hellenga was Jimmy Baron-esque that game, hitting shots from waaaaay downtown!!

He always got up for big games.....too bad his head wasn't screwed on right, for many reasons, but he had some raw talent that came out when the spotlight got brighter.

Hellenga was my favorite part of the Jim Baron Error. When I still had hope in it.

This will lead to something we rarely see, scalpers outside of the Ryan Center as we are walking in....."Got any tickets?"twisted3829 wrote:Ticket Update:

Re: PC/URI tickets going FAST
I think the loudest I ever heard the Ryan Center (including the USC opening night, St Joes, everything) was when Dawan Robinson hit the three at the end of the game vs Seton Hall...that was insane...I have a feeling tonight is going to reach that.
Is it too late to add Dustin Hellenga's random half court pullup 3 a few years back in the opening montage?

That Dawan shot against Seton Hall was amazing. I was a student and was working the game as an intern in the athletic media relations office that night and completely could not hold back and keep my "employee" status in check. I leaped the scorers table and stormed the court with everybody else.15 Year Lurker wrote:I think the loudest I ever heard the Ryan Center (including the USC opening night, St Joes, everything) was when Dawan Robinson hit the three at the end of the game vs Seton Hall...that was insane...I have a feeling tonight is going to reach that.

I was standing court side right next to the basket when he hit that shot. Loudest I've heard the Ryan center as well. Absolute mayhem storming that court, something ill never forget!15 Year Lurker wrote:I think the loudest I ever heard the Ryan Center (including the USC opening night, St Joes, everything) was when Dawan Robinson hit the three at the end of the game vs Seton Hall...that was insane...I have a feeling tonight is going to reach that.

Re: PC/URI tickets going FAST
The St. Joes game had to be the loudest. The PC game when Dustin was hitting from center court should get the loudest per actual attendance game because the place was barely 3/4 full due to the blizzard conditions that night.
