I just watched a Traore vid and interview while he was at SJ. He looks the part of a good big: tall, chiseled, moves his feet well. But his lack of production doesn’t align with his measurables. So what’s the deal with him ? Low basketball IQ ? Low motivation ? Can’t take good coaching ? Is he a late bloomer ?
Are we going to play with one big and he will be a 10-12 minute backup to Fuchs ?
ETA: Maybe Archie is going to start 3 guards with Green and Fuchs ?

Traore brings an incredible amount of energy to the game. He consistently gives his all every second he's on the court, and it wouldn't surprise me if Archie is looking to add a few players with that same level of intensity to the roster. But Pitino made it sound like he's a walk-on. He's the best cheerleader on the bench. It is great to have players like that, but we need to win some games. I don't know if Traore can help us do that but if he comes I hope he proves me wrong. I'd rather have someone like Elijah Jones. He's a good defender.

If Bassy is indeed visiting then imo he commits.
We could do worse.
What this indicates to me is actually a positive.
Based on the players who have stayed and those who have left, we could have a squad who gives consistent effort, even though the talent level might still not be good enough to contend at the top of the A10.
We still have 3 or 4 openings which could help that deficit keeping fingers crossed.
If Bassy comes here...that's where your NIL dough will be going. Some of the bigger NIL pimps here are also some of the biggest Bassy bashers, so if he comes here, those people gonna be apoplectic and conflicted, no? (Who said nothing good will ever come of NIL? )
Bottom line is that y’all need to donate more - if you don’t you aren’t a real fan … so pony up for bassy or any other castoffs … skip that daily cup of coffee and instead donate to players - but don’t ask for a cut of the gate … after all you aren’t the owners of the stock you are purchasing - you are just real fans and the ones who don’t contribute (or subscribe) should have their ESPN subscriptions revoked - you don’t deserve to watch

Apostolos Roumoglou. He was added right before the 22-23 season for roster depth. He’s solid, can shoot like crazy. Great talent in front of him and probably his defense kept him from the rotation, but AP was a crowd favorite. Place went wild when this happened.

Anyone know anything about the kid from Greece that was at UConn? He’s now in the portal . 6’8” 215 lbs.
I have a lot of close friends that are diehard fans of UConn. A few of them texted me a few days ago and said we are in the mix for him. They said whenever he played he was $$ from 3 but only played garbage minutes. Good size and a nice shot, They also said they watched him at practice a few times and he looked like he belonged…

We need bigs so, get Apotoslos in for a visit/workout IF he is open to it. What do we have to lose ?
If he played for Dan, I have to think he has a good attitude and is a hard worker.
That would be a major get
He hasn’t done a thing yet so idk if we could call it a major get but he definitely looks like an intriguing player. I’d still feel more comfortable landing a proven wing. Someone that’s made an impact at the D1 level. Dan basically brought this kid on to be a practice player…

Cmon. He has averaged 1.5 and 2.1 minutes per game at UConn. You have never seen this play or has anyone else and because he is buried deep on the bench at UConn and plays in 35 point games a few minutes this a major get? I guess we are going to do this game again like we did guys like Tyson Brown, Always Wright and others last year

Dudes been through DH bootcamp and been apart of a championship culture. That in and of itself would be a great get. I don’t care if he’s our water boy.

He’s a very tall guard, not necessarily a big. He has almost no game play, but they put together practice tape for him. It’s obviously not the same, but he was going against high talent guys and UConn practices are a lot, so it’s something. Fantastic guy, hope he ends up somewhere that’s great for him.

Someone check on Blue Man, his blood pressure is definitely rising
This is spectacular.....spec- freeking - tacular. I want to hear the Bassy hating NIL pimps in full throat, please...trying to convince US to donate so they can afford to waste money on players that THEY have already thoroughly t-rashed!
This is the best thing that's happened this off season so far!
