At least we're shooting higher. Top 50 ish in '26. This would be a Duane recruit.

He may have seen the guards already on the team and the one coming in. He also visited St John’s. Would assume if Rhody offered someone, they wanted him.....but he chose Siena instead? That just doesn't sound good. I mean, if he went to St. John's, I get it, but...Siena?RIrugger01 wrote: ↑3 months agoHe may have seen the guards already on the team and the one coming in. He also visited St John’s. Siena is his A team. Next year, he'll move up to a AA team like the A10 with a pay increase. The year after that, he goes to AAA to a P5 team with another pay increase. Finally, he goes pro with a pay decrease. That's the new blueprint.NYGFan_Section208 wrote: ↑3 months agoWould assume if Rhody offered someone, they wanted him.....but he chose Siena instead? I get a little worried when it’s Rhody and low majors interested.

Speaking of Austin, why the hell haven't we been in on New England prep recruits? That's where he played!sevegny7 wrote: ↑2 months agoI don't totally disagree with you. But I must at least say he was primary recruiter for David Fuchs. Which I think we can all say that was a good get for Austin on that one.

Will NEVER understand why we don’t tap into these schools more.
The best prep schools in America in our backyard and we ignore them (for the most part).

I think Jared and Jarvis were pretty big keys to Dan's success here. Well, if Kenny leaves, there goes the DMV, so we better start hitting up NE prep schools.Rhody15 wrote: ↑2 months agoEven he didn’t play there, we’re f’n located in New England!Billyboy78 wrote: ↑2 months agoSpeaking of Austin, why the hell haven't we been in on New England prep recruits? If KJ leaves, who are the top Asst Coaches/Recruiters out there - that are in our price range - that we could potentially hire ?

Ya he's a decent player.. Not a game changer. But he's a better version of Rory. He actually became a decent shot-blocker last year as well. Who knows how that will translate to the A10.

Re: General High School Recruiting Discussion/Comments 2023-24
Morales' efficiency numbers are great, but he only played half the year and averaged 22.6 MPG. Was he hurt or something else? Last year he was at 15.8 MPG, and he didn't crack 10 MPG his freshman or sophomore years. I think he'd be fine as a backup big, but I kind of doubt he's going to come here and log 25+ MPG, unless there was a major evaluation miss by his coach at BU.

Are most of those adidas schools? I'm guessing if you are an adidas school, you get a mention on all of these giant lists these kids put out.

Dude averaged 8.7 PPG on 36% shooting (29% 3 Pointers) for an atrocious 6-26 Pacific squad. Archie needs to do a lot better than this going into a critical 3rd year.
Speaking of Pacific, did anyone see their loss to Pepperdine in the WCC tournament? Trailed 26-0 and 39-2, ended up losing 102-43 to freaking Pepperdine.
