Awe inspiring senior appreciation ceremony. Sorry for the sarcasm. What a joke. Maybe ..maybe 1000 people in the seats and 2 team managers and Bilau. Discouraging the turn college sports has taken.

More like 500…
We're gonna run the picket fence at "em.....now boys don't get caught watchin' the paint dry!
Clearly this team has just given up for the season with this complete joke of an effort. Archie has an unbelievable task to get some players in here, this team flat out sucks, really not interested in keeping anyone outside of Fuchs & Cam. This is horrific

If we overhaul the entire roster again we will remain screwed.

And we might also be screwed again if most of the roster returns. We may suck either way.

Honestly I feel for Archie and staff. These guys on the floor are a bunch of knuckleheads.
Archie looks the same no matter- no yelling, no technicals. Cam comes:out after giving up the players right to the basket and absolutely no comment or instruction to Cam. Absolutely no communication to the players. He looks as if he has given up,for, the season. Not sure if players are followingArchie’s demeanor or visa Versa.

Archie has been a disaster so far in this game.
I saw Arch tank Jaden House after a poor shot attempt!

Overhauling AGAIN is out of the question.
Why? The players who are here either aren't buying into what Archie is trying to do or they just flat out cant play, or a combination of both. Either way, there's no point in keeping any of these guys, maybe House since he has shown he can at least score. Green has really come down to earth after a nice start, so I guess keep him, but who else do you want to see back? This team has no identity, no leadership and no blue collar players, and it goes without saying we have no point guards on the roster which clearly you need to be good. At least the off season will soon be here which sadly is the best time to be a Rhody fan.
These players are getting free college with room and board, receive a stipend from URI, and get NIL from the collective for this effort. They must be laughing their ass off. They are basically stealing from everyone.

I'd love Cam and Fuchs back. They will only get better.

He brought these guys in. It is his responsibility to get the best out of them. It is on him easily as much as these players. I don’t feel bad for Archie at all. How about adjusting or trying something new
And we might also be screwed again if most of the roster returns. We may suck either way.

So none of this has to do with coaching issues and Archie isn't accountable?
The staff needs to up their game as well as the players.
So overhauling the roster every year is the answer and who is responsible for putting it together?
It looks like Dubsky can play Steve Kerr level defense . I am not claiming he is a lock down defender but the idea that he can't be on the court seems ridiculous to me.
I'm going to be honest - the crowds have actually impressed me this year. Never mind announced, but for bodies in the seats I think our fans have showed up significantly more than I'd have expected with the performances that we've put out. Certainly not sellouts, but I've been shocked plenty of times by the fans that show up for the matchups after some of the losses we've sustained.
Students will be an uphill battle. There are no students at URI who have seen a winning team. If you're a senior this year, you saw 2 seasons of losing David Cox basketball post-covid, and 2 seasons of the subsequent rebuild. Getting kids back is going to take winning and winning alone. You get 2 years of kids living on campus to get some good memories in there, and if not, good luck getting those kids to drive from down the line to the RC.
Agree with you but it has come to my understanding that sophomores either cannot or do not live on campus anymore. Technically 70-75ish% of students are off campus.
I mean the dorms hold 6300 and there's roughly 13k undergrads. Pretty close to half.
Regardless, the point is you need to be good and give kids good memories when they're on campus so that they're attached to the team when they move 20-40 minutes away and are willing to put in the effort to make the trip.
So I don't blame the kids for not showing up in droves when the freshman can't even look at the seniors and say "what's your favorite basketball memory?"
I included Grad students in my percentage.
Plus, a lot of sophomores seek to live off campus. No yearning to be on campus for games. One of my favorite memories from my sophomore year was walking down from Hopkins in that snowstorm for the Pee Cee game Dec 2003.
