Gonzaga may miss the tournament! Their best wins are Syracuse, San Fran and USC. 0-5 against Q1 teams. They'd be out if the tournament started today. I think they'll have to win the WCC to get in.
Have to be impressed by The Ramblers turn-around this season, currently 7-2 and alone in 3rd place.
Not only that but they look well coached ranking #1 in team assists/game in the A10.
Plus they are in the top half of the conference in all defensive statistics (pts allowed, defensive rebounds, steals, blocks)

Sebastian Thomas with 25 points 7 assists 6 steals in 40 minutes in their victory against New Hampshire.
Dude fuck bassy
Why?
He was shoved out, doubt he truly wanted to leave.
Good for him turning into an All Conference player.
PeterRamTime was way too strong, but it's beyond stupid that every time he has a big game against a scrub opponent because his coach lets him take every shot we have to hear it like he's the difference between us being good or not this year, but never hear anything when he plays a suck game against those same opponents and can't hit the broad side of the barn.
Good for him. Seriously, I mean that. I'm happy that he found a level of competition and role he's doing well with. He still wouldn't make a single difference on this team this year and everyone would be freaking out if we had to watch him shoot 16.9 shots a game, which is what he's averaging this season

We have a massive thread about former player updates.
Granted that isn’t this thread, but people bring up old players all the time.
The bringing up of Bassy, who is allowed to attempt 20 shots a game at Albany, helping our team win is really annoying. I would get it if ppl brought up Leggett, but no it's Bassy that will save us taking Ways back up minutes
It’s not really about Thomas being a savior, he’s just night and day better than Always.
It’s not close.
People seem to have a vendetta against Thomas for one reason or another.
Sebastian Thomas is not night and day better than Always Wright. They're both below average A10 players that should be playing a backup role at this level, and they were getting too many minutes here because the other options weren't better enough. Thomas is better offensively, Wright is better defensively. The difference is this is Wright's first year playing D1 basketball, this is Thomas' third, and Thomas is playing in a far worse conference now

I’m not a huge Bassy fan but the kid worked hard and cared. He played 40 minutes today. Do we have a kid that could even do that without fouling out getting gassed or getting benched for not bothering to play defense? I don’t think so
Thomas was a bad defender and would still probably be one of our worst defenders this year. He just couldn't play defensively at this level athletically. Good for him for what he's doing in the America East. It doesn't translate to the A10

Is there no bus trip planned for the Fordham game yet?

Not that I have seen announced by Alumni. Hope they do, bc I wanna see that building up close. Leave building to get Arthur Ave bread before getting back on bus.

We had one scheduled last year but was cancelled due to lack of sign ups.
Doubt they do it again this year with us still sucking.
It wouldn't surprise me to see St. Joe's beat Dayton in Philly tonight.
They have won 2 in a row and 5 of their last 6.
This would be a statement game for Lange and the Joe's if they beat the #18 ranked team.
They have the "alpha" in Reynolds and 5 players averaging double-digits.
Should be a fun match-up.
I met Tony at the Tennis Hall of Fame. Spent about a half hour talking with him. Just a great person. Very down to earth. Really nice guy.
Very sad to hear the Toby Keith news , cancer sucks RIP
Yeah that sucks as well. When I think back to all the people I met at the Tennis Hall of Fame working there, it's mind boggling.
Tbr, the Tennis Hall of Fame is a great place to tour and see live professional tennis. I was fortunate to attend the Hall of Fame Tourney a few times when I was able.

The best time was when they hosted the Davis Cup. McEnroe was playing and his wife then Tatum set up camp outside our maintenance shed. We kept everyone away from her and her child. My co worker and I were walking the grounds and lo and behold, Cam Neely was walking down. He was in a brace as it was right after Samuelsson took his knee out. We brought him and his friend back to the maintenance shed and we got so freaking drunk. It was so awesome. Cam never saw one match. Just stayed with us and drank all day long.

Great story Blueram thanks for sharing
The best was when I told Tatum I auditioned for Bad News Bears. I thought I had it but didn't get selected. She had a good laugh at that one.
