At this point that’s my last concern. Need to compete for a full 40 first
If we lose by 1-2 and shot under 50% FTs we can revisit
Yeah no matter how this ends I'm really happy with the second half showing. Feels like we're starting to get a better idea of what the rotation should look like to.KingstonLane wrote: ↑6 months ago What a game.
If nothing else, this has been as fun of a half to watch as we’ve had in a long time
Well, that lineup to start the half was certainly loads better than what he had been going with previously
Well 2 out of 3 ain’t bad. Zek was Zek. And Bilau changed the tone defensively. Brown also stepped up. Good win.bigappleram wrote: ↑6 months ago Small sample size but Weston is 6 of 7 from three and the 1 he missed was all but in…and out. Struggles to find his own shot tho which is a concern. Would love Archie to run stuff to find him looks bc I like his shot.
The issue with Always is he is almost zero threat to score. Any old timers remember Carlos Easterling who was effective but had a ceiling bc he was not a threat to score. Against better competition that weakness stands out more. It’s hidden against less formidable comp.
For today…Bilau makes an impact, Jaden gets some of his mojo back, Zek is Zek. Rhody wins. Manifest it!
I had a feeling Archie would go with Weston more today and he did. What a great spark to our starting lineup in the second half. Great job by Archie after some questionable decisions in the first half.steveystuds06 wrote: ↑6 months agoYeah. Personally, I think Always is a liability. He does well against weak competition, but when he played against legitimate talent, he couldn't do a thing. Some may criticize me for saying this, but I believe Bassy was a better guard off the bench. Ways could develop, but Hammond should be ahead of him the moment he arrives. If he's not, then he's not as good as we thought.bigappleram wrote: ↑6 months ago Small sample size but Weston is 6 of 7 from three and the 1 he missed was all but in…and out. Weston still has plenty of upside, and he's clearly a better player than last year. If he stays healthy, I think he'll be one of our most consistent players and earn more minutes. The more our bigs get abused, I believe Archie will go smaller with Weston and Zek.
