Fuchs shouldn’t play a minute unless Weston is crippled or fouls out.
Wouldn’t hate seeing more Estevez either.

Feeling very similar to the NW and WSU games. I had this one as a loss just like those, but I never expected to barely even look competitive. Hope we have some answers in the second half...

Were actually playing okay, and you can see the potential if you look hard enough
That being said, letting the other team shoot 65%, and turning the ball over 8 times in the half will make life very difficult for yourself

Weston gets hurt and calls for a sub at the end of the half and we don’t call a timeout to either sub him out or draw up a play?

Re: 11/26 | Yale | 4:00PM (ESPN+)
Well, we scored our first 3 baskets fairly easy in the paint and then started jacking 3's so I'd say we have an advantage when we have the ball. We went away from that for some reason and let Yale score at will. Not going to catch up on a team as disciplined as Yale.KingstonLane wrote: ↑6 months agoThe interest in defense looks fine. It just looks like they’re confused at the speed of ball movement and cuts. Running around with our heads cut off to try and keep upShinze88 wrote: ↑6 months ago Yes, Yale is legit, they are scoring at will inside and outside and they move the ball well. We are disorganized on offense and slow and disinterested on defense. We are not just not a very good team, everything is a struggle and for some reason we are settling for 3's when clearly we have an advantage underneath.
We absolutely DO NOT have the advantage underneath. Takes 7ft big man is eating our lunch

Yale offensive sets are smooth and quick. Pack line ain’t packin’

I just don't understand how a head coach doesn't see how badly these two big lineups have been? It’s been three straight games…. If he comes out with the same starting lineup I’m going to start to have my first doubts about Archie.

Re: 11/26 | Yale | 4:00PM (ESPN+)
The problem I have with a "Man D, and only Man D" strategy is:
1. If it's not working, there is no alternative to fall back on. You can't try anything else, because you don't even practice anything else
2. If it's not working, you really aren't covering the outside or the inside. At least with a decent zone you can make in inside no man's land and dare the other team to beat you by shooting. Or you can switch it up and go back to Man if they are just shooting the lights out.
and finally, 3. if you are behind like this, Man D can be a real drain on your guys and the reason why they look dead and lifeless on the other end of the court on offense

Yup, but let’s just have Cam ride the bench after he hits a 3. House has 3 pts in 16 minutes. Cam has 3 pts in 4 minutes…

Foo’sreaction to loose balls and defense in general was bad. Brown betr against Wolf.steveystuds06 wrote: ↑6 months ago Anyone that thinks this Yale team isn’t legit is blind. We aren’t even playing that bad…
What does Foumena have to do to actually earn some minutes? How do you expect Foumena and Cam to get in any type of rhythm if you played them in small spurts? Fuchs and Brown do not deserve all these minutes over Foumena.
Archie says all the right things before and after games but it means jack shit if you get out coached against every tough team…
Has anyone seen a hard found by Rhody? Come on guys, make them pay on shots near the basket. W

Yup Brown has been the best defensive big this season I’ve said that a few times. But it doesn’t make sense that Fuchs has such a long leash the last few games but Fou immediately sits. Maybe that changes now that Fuchs was benched to start the second halfMcRam wrote: ↑6 months agoFoo’sreaction to loose balls and defense in general was bad. Wow, that visitor's side basket has a curse on it.
Sucked for us in the 1st half.
Great for us in the 2nd half.

Not sure I understand the Fuchs for Bilau sub. We were getting some momentum.
At least we finally got a call down low. Really letting them bang in the paint.
