THE EARLY LINE URI VS YALE
URI opens +4.5 per the FanDuel screenshot below. This game would be a pass for me but there is no fun in that so give me URI +4.5.
William Hill odds - URI +4, O/U 140, no ML.

Re: THE EARLY LINE URI VS YALE
Hopefully last weekend was a wake up call. Can’t sleepwalk through any part of these games.
If you say you’re a Rhody fan, I know you are my brother. For you have suffered as I have suffered.

I saw it more as weaknesses exposed

I have trouble grasping we are home dogs to Yale with Archie Miller as our coach. Didn't expect this.

Ive League tourney champ made the Sweet 16 last season.theblueram wrote: ↑6 months agoPicked to win the Ivy league? Also, Yale since 2013 under Jones.
5 Regular season titles
3 NCAA tournament appearances
1 NCAA win
They are consistently good with Jones, not some scrub team and coach.
With that said, I think we cover and have a good shot to win.

Re: THE EARLY LINE URI VS YALE
This is the game where fans of the Giants root for the Pats and Pats are definitely rooting for the Giants. Both need that high draft pick

Two very different results of Jonesing...RamStock wrote: ↑6 months agoThis is the game where fans of the Giants root for the Pats and Pats are definitely rooting for the Giants. Both need that high draft pick
- Gmen Jonesing: stuck with too much sunk money at QB, so even if they do the right thing and lose out, probably still won't draft a QB
- Pats Jonesing: perfect position to keep on losing and get one of the top 3 available QBs
Life lesson: "Kids, don't Jones it like the Giants do."

Re: THE EARLY LINE URI VS YALE
Does anyone have insight to the transfer frequency in the Ivy League these days? Many leagues such as the A-10 have been very much affected by the transfer rule changes. I suspect the Ivy League is likely seeing less player movement providing for more stability and player cohesiveness.

Maybe overall because of academics, but just ask St. John's, they got the 2 best players in the Ivy, Ledlum and Dingle.RF1 wrote: ↑6 months ago Does anyone have insight to the transfer frequency in the Ivy League these days? Plus Dartmouth's top player Adelekun transferred to Loyola/Chicago.

Re: THE EARLY LINE URI VS YALE
The Ivy league does not allow grad students on their rosters.
I believe the transfers are grad students except Dingle.
There was also I believe another GS transfer from Cornell.
I believe the Ivy league is more academics since there are no scholarship players on team

All that plus the tough academic standards puts them at a disadvantage in athletics.

Re: THE EARLY LINE URI VS YALE
College Basketball is as talented as it’s ever been so assuming teams are going to suck because of the conference they are in is wrong. Princeton was incredible last season. The Ivy League has some good teams this year. Yale is a strong well coached team that would be one of the best A10 teams this season if they were in our conference.

Re: THE EARLY LINE URI VS YALE
If the Giants get a top 2-3 pick, they can trade it for a boatload of picks to one of the teams who need a QB. Very valuable.NYGFan_Section208 wrote: ↑6 months agoTwo very different results of Jonesing...

You're far too kind. The home fans should go home happy after paying all that money, so go Giants!

The Giants are "one of those teams...", but, can't act on it properly, because, well...see "Jonesing" above...Billyboy78 wrote: ↑6 months agoIf the Giants get a top 2-3 pick, they can trade it for a boatload of picks to one of the teams who need a QB.
