I'm not sure I am in favor of this. Maybe CAA is worried Deleware might leave and we need teams.
The football conference was a lot better when we had some MA teams, UMass, BU, and Northeastern.

So Bryant is getting new field turf for their stadium this month and by spring of 2025 they're going to be adding 1500 seats, club seating, a 140 seat film room, team meeting rooms, and a pressbox to the visitor's side:

Multi - purpose though.
Look how far away the stands are from the field... for Soccer.

Actually, the Sidelines currently at Meade are too narrow.
You would not build a Stadium that could only hold 6 events a year. Case in point Gillette

Re: Bryant to join CAA for the 2024 season.
Bryant's new turf is in and they're starting construction on the new addition this spring.
We were scheduled to play at their place in 2024, I imagine the CAA will keep the rotation as is just for simplicity. That means it's probably going to be tougher to get tickets for this year's game because there might not be stands behind the visiting bench. In future visits the home and visitors sides will probably flip, which will make going to the games there better as visitors than it's been.
2024's game date was TBA, don't be surprised if we finish the 2024 regular season in Smithfield. That would mean in theory we should be able to start demolishing the East stands in early November 2024 after our last home game

RF1, visited the facility with a Bryant friend when it first opened (10 yrs ago now as a guess). Nice facility. I was impressed.
