Three consecutive posts about me? Not the actual topic, but me instead. Guys, really, you shouldn't have...but, glad I could be there for you.
(I know, I know, I should have acknowledged each of you individually, but, busy-ish work day today.)

Re: 2023-24 Rotation
I see Bilau in here doing light rehab....no brace. I have to think that with 5 months to go before the season starts, there's a chance he's ready.

Re: 2023-24 Rotation
Maybe Biiau is far ahead of schedule . Rehab for one player is not the same as rehab for all players , and so you could be right Billyboy . I t would seem to me that he probably would be ready by October given where he's at right now and assuming no set backs or additional injury to his knee.

Because he is a senior. Will be his 4th full year in college.Billyboy78 wrote: ↑1 year agoJaden House listed as a senior.CamsRams wrote: ↑1 year ago Looks like the roster has been updated:

The extra covid year doesn't change that.

I believe it's also the 4th year for some other players who are listed as juniors. Last year was Ish Leggett's 3rd year and he was listed as a sophomore.Rhody15 wrote: ↑1 year agoBecause he is a senior. I think they listed it luke that because Luis and Green took redshirt seasons. At least Green did, now thinking about it I'm not sure if Kortrights sophomore year counts as a redshirt, but I know he was hurt.Billyboy78 wrote: ↑1 year agoKortright played 3 years at Quinnipiac, listed as a junior. Hmm that’s interesting… Odd that they didn’t add the Covid year for the other players but they did for House. Maybe we are only planning on having him for one year. I was hoping two but who the hell knows.Billyboy78 wrote: ↑1 year agoJaden House listed as a senior.CamsRams wrote: ↑1 year ago Looks like the roster has been updated:

He has 2 years eligibility left and after this season he will decide if he returns for the additional Covid year.
In the write-up about the 7 newcomers (Gorhody) they have him listed as a junior.

Jaden House
G | Jr
6-4 | 201
Richmond, Va. | High Point
A big, physical guard, House led High Point in scoring, averaging 17.3 points per game, which ranked third in the Big South. Capable of getting to the free throw line, he shot 207 free throws in 30 games in 2022-23, an average of 6.9 attempts per game. A two-time Big South Player of the Week, House earned all-conference honorable mention this year. He has 81 career games to his credit and already is a career 1000-point scorer.
Archie Miller on Jaden House
"Jaden is a proven scorer at the college level. He is a gamechanger in transition and someone we expect to come in and make an instant impact offensively."

Re: 2023-24 Rotation
Or House could Graduate this year and then next year Transfer with immediate eligibility because he can Transfer without penalty being a Grad Student.
House has good options by next April. If he kills it at URI then he will be a very sought after player - highlighted by immediate eligibility.

Possibly the same can be said for Luis, Green, and Bilau.ramster wrote: ↑1 year ago Or House could Graduate this year and then next year Transfer with immediate eligibility because he can Transfer without penalty being a Grad Student.

After tonight’s interview you might want to insert Fuchs in the starting five.

Bilau looks to be moving well! I know I keep saying I think he'll be back after the non conference but It would be awesome to get him back early.

I think Bilau's knee is improving pretty quickly. He's pushing a sled here.

Re: 2023-24 Rotation
My concern isn’t his availability to start, it’s his durability. If he plays most of the season we’ll be so dangerous down low, based on his track record I don’t hold high hopes.Billyboy78 wrote: ↑11 months ago I think Bilau's knee is improving pretty quickly. He's pushing a sled here.
We do have depth though, which could be good to protect his usage.
If you say you’re a Rhody fan, I know you are my brother. For you have suffered as I have suffered.

Yes Blue Man, there should be no reason to rush Bilau.Blue Man wrote: ↑11 months agoMy concern isn’t his availability to start, it’s his durability. We have Foumena, Brown, and Fuchs and they may even turn out to be a better option.
With him only playing 8 games, and returning from major injury, not sure what to expect from him.
Also as you said, his durability is a big question mark.

It is hard to identify with college players who are here for basketball and NIL money, and academics are an afterthought. RIP mid-major college basketball.

Changing the subject and not sure where to put this but preferred walk-on Jameson Smith was officially added to the roster.
Doubtful he will ever be part of the rotation.
