Hmmm maybe that explains Hawkins is making a decision soon (I’d prefer Weston but we shall see)

Re: '20 NY SG - Femi Odukale (Pittsburgh ---> ??? )
I remember when we were after Anthony Nelson and we lost him to SH because he was looking to get paid.
This shows:
1) Paying players has always been happening
2) Kids don't actually care about campus, education, etc. (SH is a concrete dump)
We need not be so insecure as to let this stuff bother us. When the dust settles, we will have a decent team with guys to build on.

Good, like I said i would want Weston over him, and yes seeing the schools who else were involved with him he definitely was a no thanks, but things have come out of nowhere and In two weeks I feel like we’ll have 3 new players for the beginning of summer practices

Well fuck.
Let’s wrap Weston please & thx, maybe that’s who Duane was talking to on the phone at the Season Tix Event, picking someone up at Kennedy, which prob means Kennedy Plaza, so who ever this is taking a bus and I believe Weston is close bus ride away
But who tf knows I’m speculating in my free time to keep myself occupied

That was Billyboy78 who picked up the comment. He thought it meant meeting the prospect at Kennedy Airport. Then continuing on to RI by flightDino611 wrote: ↑2 years ago Well fuck.

I was just guessing. I think the guy he was talking to was named either Elroy or Leroy, maybe a coach or handler of a recruit? But he definitely said, 'I'll see you at Kennedy'.ramster wrote: ↑2 years agoThat was Billyboy78 who picked up the comment. He thought it meant meeting the prospect at Kennedy Airport. If Femi to Seton Hall helps set up Brandon Weston to URI that is certainly a trade off I can live with.

Not very optimistic, or not as optimistic as I was a couple of weeks ago about landing Femi. But, maybe we still have a puncher's chance! C'mon Femi, Go Rhody!

Fer me, part of the awesomeness is that I haven't read or heard anything that makes me think he goes one way or the other...stealth surprise. And, if he doesn't come here, I feel like that's just another domino out of the logjam that opens the flow to other/different greatness.reckless jake wrote: ↑2 years agoNot very optimistic, or not as optimistic as I was a couple of weeks ago about landing Femi. Archie and Femi unfollowed each other on Twitter. Pretty safe to say he is going to the Hall after the visit.

I thought the more realistic of the two was the kid from Mizzou. But, then, after his official visit, his father made a statement on twitter like "My son can make ANY team better!" And I couldn't help but wonder who that was directed to. Someone from here, or elsewhere.
He's not wrong, I just was wondering what that comment was about. His son is a sparkplug, no doubt.

Nope. Like I said after the event we may already have the athletic guard we need in Carey. Sounds like he may be making an even bigger jump with Archie.

Yeah, so that is what it is then. I noticed that this thread was a ghost town the last two weeks, I think everyone is pretty much on the same page here. They just didn't want to say it out loud.

The Lobos are a god damn mess. It's kind of surprising to me that he ended up there, of all places. Their new coach, Hooten, had a pretty good run at Sam Houston State though, and they are moving up to Conference USA from the WAC.
