BTW, you still have a chance. My memory was wrong. Last year Creighton had a 55 Net, 22-11, 7-6 Quad 1, 4-4 Quad 2, 6-1 Quad 3, and 5-0 Quad 4. Miami was the lowest at 62 Net, 4-3 Quad 1, 5-4 Quad 2, 9-3 Quad 3, 5-0 Quad 4.KevanBoyles wrote: ↑1 year agoYou can post anything you want. I may bust your balls though. All good fun.
PC at 55 Net, 21-11, 4-8 Quad 1, 3-2 Quad 2, 3-1 Quad 3, 11-0 Quad 4. I still think they fall short.

I don't get the argument here? Literally every bracketologist has PC in somewhere between a 9-11. The matrix has them at a 10.
Maybe they wind up first four but there's 0.0% chance they're not in the field.

Re: 2022-23 Men's Games of Interest
It certainly seems like they're a "lock," despite their swoon to end the year, which is weird to me when UNC is now seen as almost a lock to be out of the tournament. PC snagged a couple more Q1 wins, but trails behind UNC in NET and KenPom. I think PC could be put on the bubble if some team in another conference has a hot run to end the year, but it does seem like they did enough in the regular season to not be in serious danger of missing the tournament.Blue Man wrote: ↑1 year ago I don't get the argument here? Look, I'm not particularly invested in this argument, but there's a ton of inertia to things like bracket predictions and top 25 polls. When you're in it's hard to get booted out, and if you're on the outside it's hard to get in and even if you get in it's hard to earn the rank you deserve.Blue Man wrote: ↑1 year ago I don't get the argument here? Maybe they did make enough hay between the end of December to mid February to get in. If the committee was meeting regularly they probably are safe. But if the committee hasn't been meeting regularly and they look at the metrics and the whole season with fresh eyes, they're a bubble team at best. Teams with the same relative resume are excluded every year from the tournament

Re: 2022-23 Men's Games of Interest
I am watching FAU (Conf USA). Really nice team. Could be trouble in the NCAAT; a Sweet 16 dark horse, maybe.
There’s so much talent in FL. Many alumni from A10 schools, too, and I would imagine probably increasing some. Too bad it is such a big a stretch ( for multiple reasons - football being one big one ) for the A10 to snag a FL program. Keep in mind that I am not saying the A10 can, could or should.
I wonder if the A10 ever entertained the possibility ?

FAU is currently ranked NET 15.
Moving this summer to AAC along with Charlotte, North Texas, Rice, UAB and UTSA as the newest AAC members. Houston, Cincinnati and UCF will move from AAC P6 to P5.
FAU has been in and out of the Top 25 during the season. Currently receiving votes in latest Poll:

Any Florida school that would be the least bit desirable has Division 1-A (or whatever the hell they call it this week) football, meaning they'd end up as the umAss of the south.Jdrums#3 wrote: ↑1 year ago I am watching FAU (Conf USA). That will be a did stealing situation if FAU gets beat.

After six straight missed UVU free throws, Healy made a pair at the line to pull to within 86-85 with 12 seconds to go. Utah Valley made a pair at the line to push the lead back to 88-85 with 10 seconds on the clock.
Incredibly, Jones drained a three-pointer with four seconds to go to tie the game at 88-88 and was fouled on the shot. Jones made the free throw to take an 89-88 lead as the 'Birds held off Utah Valley in the final three seconds as the 'Birds completed a 23-point comeback.
