Hate saying this, but just really can’t wait for this season to be over. Not a ton of fun trying to see if we can break 50 every game
This isn’t a D1 offense. So brutal to watch.

Don’t agree. Weak call on Ish there. Feet weren’t set. No attempt to play D there.

We look small. Liked how Archie went to the two big lineup.

Yet another Martin special - the Brick Three. From now on, I'm gonna call it a Malik.

At this point, Archie shouldn’t have Bassy and Martin in at the same time. It limits our offensive weapons too much.
This is where we’re going to miss Bray the most.

Samb’s legit one of the weakest shooters I’ve ever seen. Can barely hit the rim from a foot away

Re: 2/18 | UMass | 2:00PM (ESPNU/ESPN+)
The O is really struggling today. We are shooting 27% from the floor; 17% from 3.
We will really need to play solid D in the 2nd and hold them under 60 points , maybe under 55, to have a shot to win.

Re: 2/18 | UMass | 2:00PM (ESPNU/ESPN+)
We will see how Archie can adjust to the 1-3-1 defense. As soon as umass went to it, we looked terrible. Weston needs to play more against this setup. We should be able to get open threes from the corners against this defense. Rory, Ish and Weston- at least two of the three need to be on the court at all times against this defense. So far , Martin wins the coaching battle.

Yes, McRam, some open corner 3 opp,s for Rory, Weston, maybe Hutch - if he gets in - could be had.McRam wrote: ↑1 year ago We will see how Archie can adjust to the 1-3-1 defense. Samb, Martin, Rory, Thomas and on and on. I can’t believe some people think here is talent on this team and we just need a couple pieces. This team is the pits. There will be many changes despite what some people think. I couldn’t picture getting ready to watch this team again next year

Brutal O and solid UMass D today. Bad combo.

Weston is another guy that gets a pass because he came from a power 5 school and the injury history, but what has he done to improve his game?? Is anyone counting on him being a starter who makes an impact next year.

Re: 2/18 | UMass | 2:00PM (ESPNU/ESPN+)
This is all true, but we are also currently getting embarrassed on our home court by a team missing 3 of their top 5 scorers, that also has a new coach and a lot of new faces. It just sucks all around right now.KingstonLane wrote: ↑1 year agoTo be fair I don’t think anyone wants to run it back with these guys as starters, including ArchieRamStock wrote: ↑1 year ago Samb, Martin, Rory, Thomas and on and on. He's flashed shooting ability and athleticism plenty of times this year.
Are you capable of being anything other than the most over the top whiney pessimist possible all the time?
Like yeah we get it, the team really sucks. The program got burnt to the ground and we've lost three guys that would otherwise start. We get it. You don't have to pull the fire alarm with every post it's ridiculous.
We also have a bunch of freshman who are developmental players. It just takes time to for some guys to develop.

URI is absolutely awful today . This may be the worst of many poor performances this season . They simply can't shoot a basketball . they can't
handle a ball like college basketball team and they are weak up front . just not fun to watch this team at all . It is literally painful..

Yea all totally fair. But I could care less. This year was going to be a wash, lose those 3 guys and now it’s really a joke. This sounds bad but there’s no point in watching these games.adam914 wrote: ↑1 year agoThis is all true, but we are also currently getting embarrassed on our home court by a team missing 3 of their top 5 scorers, that also has a new coach and a lot of new faces. Re: 2/18 | UMass | 2:00PM (ESPNU/ESPN+)
Believe me when I say I am sick of you also and we have Archie so we will win the A-10 mentality also. All your statements are based on no facts other than that Archie was successful 6 seasons ago when he coached. Anyone can see that these freshman have no talent. I am not on the in 4-5 years program we will be good. Harris was never part of the team and it wasn’t going to make a difference. Bray was a mistake and Bilau is a nice piece or role player, but not going to push them over the topPeterRamTime wrote: ↑1 year agoHe's flashed shooting ability and athleticism plenty of times this year.

Rory needs to shoot with more confidence. He makes a 3 then throws up a MalikⓇ.

This season can't end soon enough . They are embarrassing themselves . they are clearly the worst team in the league right now and it isn't close.
