We are all well aware of the struggles this season of our top tier teams Dayton, SLU, and VCU.
But our typical bottom tier programs seem to be much improved.

Aside from Fordham's major leap this season, I am really surprised about La Salle.
I originally figured them to finish last in the conference and they are currently 7-6.
Also, on a 5-game winning streak.
Make no mistake Fran Dunphy at 74 can still coach.

Can't also forget Duquesne, now 8-5 with 4 straight wins.

Yeah the middle of the conference is all respectable beating up on each other and there are no dregs @ the bottom

Good vid. Thanks, Rhowdy.

I, agree with the vid in that I like the design of Duq’s arena.

Of course, I will always be partial to the Ryan Center.

Based on how A10 names their teams Leggett makes 3rd team (according to busting brackets vote distribution) as A10 names 6 players per team for 18 total. Leggett is 17th in voting.
The defensive and rookie teams only get 5 players per team

This busting brackets only names 5 per team for 15 total.

Obviously not the official yet, but I'd like to think that giving a 5th year grad senior a "most improved" award is kind of lame. I'd hope you'd have improved by then. You're an adult man.

It must also be nice to not have to be the guy that defenses are keying on.

That said even though Ish played a harder schedule as the lead dog for his team, statistically it's close.

Adams went from 8.2 to 17.5 ppg. He did improve in every major statistical category, with the exception that his turnovers tripled in only 7 more mpg.

Ish went from 8.3 to 16.6 ppg. He too improved in every major statistical category, most impressively he improved significantly at the line. He was one of the best FT shooters in the conference.

I would think that the younger player who had to become a team's star by necessity, would be a better bet for most improved over the 5th year who was the 2nd option on a barely .500 team, but hey. I'm very used to URI getting shafted in postseason awards.
If you say you’re a Rhody fan, I know you are my brother. For you have suffered as I have suffered.
