Balanced scoring for us today. Something to build off of.

Despite PC’s length and athleticism, our offense has been solid - excluding that stretch to close the first half. Bodes well for the team going forward.

This game was just more proof that we are YEARS away from having a good team. This squad will probably not win more than 8-9 games this season and based on what we have, I am not very encouraged for next year. This is a total rebuild from a DEEP hole.

That’s how I felt basically

I came away impressed with PC can see them mid tier BE at worst

For us we are rebuilding showed some good fight tonight and we should get better as the year goes on

We may struggle to get wins but we will improve

Tough game, but there was great alumn representation. Dawan, Hellenga, Jimmy Baron, Tavoris Bell, Silk and Will Martell and probably some I missed. Also heard Jimmy Butler was in the house with another player.

As long as I've been a fan/following Rhody Hoops and posting on this board -- it's nice to see the overall consensus here as purely this being a rebuilding year and no doom and gloom. I'm here for it.

No doom and gloom for me.
I see potential with this young group.
Probably looking at year 3 for a post-season bid, if we keep them together.

Funny cas I am feeling very confident about us playing relevant games in march

A10 semis is my bar for relevant games

you can just see this team playing the right way - I love the flow this team has and yes we gave up way too many layups but I’ll chalk that up to a talent thing vs Archie can’t coach defense cas we know he can

I can’t wait to see is growing each and every game

Someone can and probably will correct me but without looking anything up we had that bad stretch under 8 mins of 1st half - otherwise we played that evenly - no (?)

The other player was Kyle Lowry. On the telecast, they stated they were there with Devin Carter’s father, who’s an assistant coach for the Heat.

Lowry and Butler were there with Heat assistant and long time NBA vet Anthony Carter, who is Devin Carter from PC's father.

Honestly good vibes say the game for what it was. Young alum section everyone knows the deal, low expectations and it just enjoying it.

There’s a lot to look forward too. The defense tightens up, and we shoot like we did today against lower competition and we will start winning.

I’m not doom and gloom, bigs take time to develop, especially when they are going against Ed Croswell who is like 28 years old at this point. They’ll be fine in A10

I think he will.

He mentioned in the post game show that foul trouble caused him to use lineup’s he didn’t plan on, or something to that affect.

Overall, I see growth from the team offensively - excluding the dry spell at the end of the first half. We shot well, some other players stepped up to score, cut down on the turnovers in the second half against strong pressure all game. Those things bode well for us for future games.

That said, we really took a step back on D. PC killed us inside and in transition. That was disappointing but fixable.

We will get there and I still think we will surprise some teams come late January and February.

Nothing to add, just gonna take time, for me, maybe longer than I thought. Like the players, some good things happening, defense was let down, didn’t expect that. On to Brown, wouldn’t be easy.

yeah I forgot those two. Saw Will on the concourse and yelled at him. Got a nice smile. Don't think I've ever seen that many alumns at a game before.
