Glad he's getting some run, but he hasn't been all that impressive in these games. Hopefully, he's making a good paycheck from it.
The actual basketball and emphasis of the Big 3 seems to have shifted as well. While most rosters still have an Old Timer you've heard of (Kuran's team has Jodie Meeks and Leonardo Barbosa), most of the league's best players are 25 to 32-year-old guys just on the cusp of NBA basketball. The league's current leading scorer is journeyman Kevin Murphy. If you're jonesing for some post-up basketball though, it's a good game to tune into.

Rothstein has Arkansas ranked pre-season #3 in the SEC,
He doesn't show either of the Mitchell twins in the starting 5.
Also not listed among the 15 players SEC Impact Transfers nor the 10 Under-The-Radar Transfers.

High projection, didn't pan out.
One trick ponies who'd have been good in the 90's - or if they had the aptitude (or family support) to learn a new trick.

Unfortunately, they were in need of an attitude adjustment.
They had issues at Maryland which weren't tolerated, and the comments directed at the HC by their mother were cause for concern.
They needed to be held accountable instead of being coddled and enabled.
Interesting that our former commit Abou Ousmane, who had a change of heart when the twins decided to come here, seems to be thriving at North Texas.
He started every game at center last season, had solid stats, and they had an excellent year finishing 1st in C-USA (25-7, 16-2 conference) and going to the NCAAT.

Well at first I thought I might be conflicted with URI guys going head to head, but I think I'll be just fine pulling for Delroy James over Johnathan Holton

The teams decide. Last night they showed on broadcast that one team had decided to split the winnings $55,000 each - included players, coaches, etc.
And of course, bigger than the $ million for some players is the great publicity they are getting for Landing overseas professional contracts and/or increasing their bargaining power in negotiating their overseas contracts.

4 p.m.: Aftershocks (Wichita State alums) vs. Americana for Austism

Americana for Austism: Americana for Autism beat Florida TNT 93-83 in the quarterfinals Thursday night at UD Arena. Femi Olujobi, who played for Oakland, North Carolina A&T and DePaul, scored 14 points as did former Georgetown guard Chris Wright.

Blue Collar U wins 74-69 over Red Scare
Wes Clark with 22 points. He is from Romulus Michigan and played for Nate Oats along with EC Mathews.
EC Mathews was on the bench for BCU tonight but not dressed to play, as was the case last game as well.
Nate Oats recruited and coached many of the BCU Players at Buffalo. Oats is having his assistant coach at Alabama Coach the BCU Team.
So it's Blue Collar U vs Americana for Autism in the Championship Game from Dayton Arena Tuesday night!!

Re: Where Are They Now? Former Player Results and News
Correct. In all games but one EC was not dressed to play, just been on bench. So it’s odd how some were hyping the game like it’s Delroy vs EC, yet doubtful that was going to happen. Obviously they haven’t been watching TBT games or tracking the box scores.
Good news is EC still gets a cut of the $1,000,000. And Delroy James has a lot to be proud of and he got a lot of interviews on TV because of his play and his dedication to raising money and attention for Autism
Too bad the Championship was not much of a game as BCU easily won by 22. Great Tournament though as there were many close, well played games.

I wonder how some of these TBT teams stack up against some college teams. Because the play is a little rough sometimes even though they're pro's.

I'm pretty sure they'd smoke all but the best college teams, given adequate practice time and roster construction. There's a fairly decent jump from college to most pro leagues, plus the pro league teams would have a depth advantage.PeterRamTime wrote: ↑1 year agoSad that Delroy lost :*( he's one of my all time favorites. Yeah you would think that, but I was just remembering how that undefeated Gonzaga team looked and the Baylor team that beat them looked and was like, these TBT teams don't look anywhere near as good as them.SGreenwell wrote: ↑1 year agoI'm pretty sure they'd smoke all but the best college teams, given adequate practice time and roster construction.
