77,
The A10 players you mention are in the list of transfers
You can sort the transfers by team, by conference….many options in the website.

Yes Ramster.
But how the players are ranked can be very subjective.
Not sure I would consider Ish better than Bamisile or Daye.
Same with comparing Twan to Funk or Moore, very difficult.
But all of those players I listed played a major role in their respective teams.
I was really responding to 4Diffs that some of the A10 teams lost some of their top players.

It can be subjective but I believe these rankings in this site are all done via data. All 770 transfers are ranked and every player in D1 is ranked.
Some of the players you listed are on bad teams and got lots of minutes.
Not surprised for this board to disagree with Leggett as #2, and Walker didn’t start yet he is #1.

Also pretty difficult to understand how they can rank AB ahead of Daye. Clark, or Lindo.
Looking at EvanMiya's rating / ranking system... It is *heavily* weighed on plus-minus data, as well as minutes played vs. rate stats. If you filter it for only A-10 players, the first 19 players are all from winning teams (Dayton, Davidson, Richmond, VCU, St. Louis, Bonaventure), before you get to a GM player at #20. As a result, it's probably overvaluing role players on winning teams vs. individual talents on bad teams - You'd probably rather have Daye than like the fourth option on VCU or Davidson.
Head Coaches are not going to recruit based on this data anyway, at least I’d hope not. But it’s a good site to view who is in the portal, who has signed already, sort by conference……………
I saw the linc from Jeff Borzello’s site.
Verbal commits has the transfer info but not near the data and filtering capabilities.
Sure there will be more info like this as The Portal is where it’s at now.
You can filter out players who have already signed with another team.
From comments in the Borzello thread: You can filter by:
- HS Recruiting Rank
- Transfer status
- Class
- Position
- Offensive Role
- Possessions played

You can read details on what is included in the criteria. No “person” is providing the ranking order. It’s a Robot.
I am including Shane because he decommitted from Arizona after Sean was fired.
He was a 4* top 100 CG from Jersey City and prepped at Brewster NH.
Nice size guard at 6'5" and noted for his athleticism and shooting ability.
Last season at Vanderbilt as a freshman in limited play (10 min/game) shot 46% FG and 56% 3PT.

We’re gonna need bigs now
There are quite a few in the portal, really like Neal Quinn from Lafeyette, saw him several times.
The 7-footer from NJ averaged 14.7 pts/ 7.4 rebs/ 4 assists with 2 years eligibility left.

Archie's Elite 8 team had no one on the roster over 6'7" I believe.
The game has changed. I'll take a bunch of really good PFs and go to war...generally that is what our best teams have had anyhow.
Personally I hated the idea of two bigs on the floor since the moment it was even a thought so I welcome a refresh in the front court.
That isn't modern basketball. It doesn't work. I'd like Twan to come back fwiw.
I guess I have to think the re-recruitment conference(s) did not go so well. Surprised, I guess, cause of mother’s tweets on Coach’s hiring. Or? Tell me all ears here. As much as I dumped on their attitude, style of play etc, I was hoping for them to get better schooling…….and stay

I took Mama Mitchell’s “welcome” to Archie as a lobbying effort to keep the twins on the team on their terms. My guess is Coach told them who’s boss, resulting in their leaving. Total guess n my part.

"Rutgers is most recent. Penn State, Virginia Tech and Ohio State [too]. Richmond and Loyola [Chicago] on Monday…Georgia Tech.”

New York kid. Was Big Ten 6th MOY as a freshman and preseason Big Ten selection. Had a down year largely due to missing 2 months because of a concussion.
Victor Bailey Jr transferring from Tennessee to George Mason. Kim English was an Assistant Coach at Tennessee.
Enters the Portal and same day is headed to GMU. Kind of like selling the house before putting up the For Sale sign.
Recruit first - then "unofficially commit" - then put name in Portal - then announce.
Excellent pick up for Kim English.

Victor Bailey Jr. is reuniting with Kim English.
The Tennessee basketball guard is transferring to George Mason for his final season of eligibility, he announced Monday. Bailey spent two seasons at Tennessee and played in 61 games.
He entered the transfer portal Sunday and less than 24 hours later announced his move to George Mason. He is immediately eligible as a graduate transfer

This is how it works for better players. Don't lower the gear until you see the runway.

Yes. And how it works for the best recruiting Coaches as well.
Its a madhouse out there, it’s chaos, it’s a mess, it’s the wild, Wild West - translates to its a gold mine of opportunity to the coaches who see it that way vs the “woe is me” coaches.

Good last point there.
I think in relation to the portal, with change comes opportunity. Adapt and overcome.
This one surprises me, I thought he would get his chance'
Diggins PG/CG was a top 50 4* recruit from Philly, top player in the city.
Diggins a freshman only played 9 games this past season.

Player to be named later in the Martin trade?
