Not sure why everybody was so down on this game. I didn’t think we look that bad offensively with the exception of that six minute lull by both teams. I do think we played a little conservative. But that may have been Cox strategy for the game…not to let everyone run hot. We reduced the turnovers and looked in control even in a pretty tight game.

SJU is not awful. Jordan Hall is a potential pro, Funk can play and their big was formidable for an A10 team. They kicked the snot out of Richmond on the road.

17 assists to 9 TOs will win you games. Second straight game team struggled from 3 against us.

We do manage to win games at home against teams with less talent than us.

However we play like an elephant giving birth.

Nothing is easy.

Win these types of games on the road and maybe there's a tiny bit of hope....very tiny.

When do we play consistently good enough to do that?

Once in a while we play well against a good team, but still find ways to blow it.

@ Pete. Not celebrating here.. can’t say I think St. joes is an overly talented team. We won a game we should have won. I simply stated that we played a little bit more efficient, yet a bit conservative.

… I get nervous that some of our comrades on the forum are going to be hanging in the closet midway through the game. Just looking out for my fellow rhody fans.
