We call a timeout around the 17 minute mark in the second half every game don't we?

Do people still get worked up about Cox’s timeout usage every single game? I don’t love it either but you’d think people would be used to it by now

We are winners if the team wins or loses. If we win, great! If we lose, great…hopefully closer to a new coach.

I had no idea either. I think its their second leading scorer, but still, averages 17ppg. How depressing.

I'm not there tonight, but listening. It sounds like there's hardly anyone there. I can hear Dan Yorke perfectly clear at all calls, and only really hear the cheerleaders and that's about it. Sounds like it's a high school gymnasium (not even).

Our bigs should be able to score every single time down the court… we will go up 10-15 soon… Be very grateful they don’t have their 2nd leading scorer. No way Thorr watches this and says this is the coach that will lead us to a bid.

And I'm not dumping on Cox to strategy again, but...we just had a breakaway dunk for a score to go up 9... it's one thing to kill team mo'...but when you do that there, aren't you killing crowd mo' too?

Sometimes the Mitchell’s get possessed by a demon and feel as if the only way to exorcise it is to forget they have teammates and dribble until someone steals it from them

I think this thread size and the crowd size are solid indicators of where the program is.
Lethargic comes to mind.
Struggled for most of the game against a trash opponent missing one of their stars. After looking like garbage all year.
I’m more excited for my next dental cleaning than the rest of this regular season.

But if you asked me to pick a game at the beginning of the season that I would be least interested in it would have probably been this one

A win is a win. Hard to find too many positives from it though. I guess at least we saw Cox shake things up in response to the poor play. I don't know...

Got the win. Didn’t cover. Looked terrible. Not optimistic about the future. Slow swirl down the drain in less than 4 years.

Excellent choice. Nailed it. I mean a 283 kenpom game against shu is a true cupcake compared to 213 Milwaukee coming up!KingstonLane wrote: ↑2 years agoNot disagreeing with some themes of your overall point.Blue Man wrote: ↑2 years ago I think this thread size and the crowd size are solid indicators of where the program is.

Re: 12/7 | Sacred Heart | 6:00PM (YurView/ESPN+)
Shep has been awful on d. He looks like he’s going at half speed and doesn’t seem interested in the game. Thomas had 5 assists and was working his ass off on both ends of the court. He made the smart pass most of the time, and finished with a 9+-KingstonLane wrote: ↑2 years ago Thomas with 4 TOs. Really struggling to see why Shep is getting such a short leash here
I expect turnovers from a freshman, but give me the guy that’s giving his all 100% of the time.

My guess would be lack of effort. We score better when Thomas is on the floor. He can't shoot but he drives well and puts guys in good positions to scoreSandorClegane wrote: ↑2 years ago I watched the game but couldn’t really hear the commentators. How come Sheppard didn’t play much?

Omg 4928 attendance?
Cmon. 2/3 full!?
I doubt there were even that many tickets sold.
Tell me they’re just scanning extra tickets to say they’re filling the stands.
