I believe that's the joke he's making.
Again it isn't like Cox is signing an entire class this spring.
Chance is already committed and Sebastian reclassified, enrolled this fall and redshirting.
Only 1 spot open so far. Yes it would of been nice to get one of those 4*, but it didn't happen.
I still like the foundation we have going into 22-23.
In 22-23, we will have one legit shooter (unproven at the college level) and two players over 6'8".
We have zero bigs that can shoot and draw folks out of the key.
We are moving forward with the same roster composition as last year for the foreseeable future, as far as I can tell.
Not sure that formula works in today's game. Just my 2 cents.
Nate Brafford would be a step in the right direction. Need him and another shooter.
If kids are thinking they need a $$ package and will leave on a whim, we should have no ties to them either.
Produce or get cut. The NCAA killed program loyalty. The rules of the game have changed. Adjust or perish.
Rhodyblue 12, not sure what you mean by only 2 bigs (implied).
If no transfers we have the twins, Samb, Ileri, and possibly Walker if he returns.
Also Martin can play the 3 or 4. Our entire frontcourt could be back, they would all have eligibility.
However, I do think Cox will add another big or wing with the additional scholarship. Brafford may fit the bill at 6'8"/6'9" who can shoot and also score in the paint.
I also think Makhi can play inside and out, stretching the floor a little. He was sorely missed last season.
Ish had the best 3pt% on the team last season at 42%
Cox had also mentioned that AB was our best outside threat, let's see what he is capable of in 22-23.
