It appears so. Yesterday he played 19 minutes and only took 3 shots but finished with 7 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. A tidy +/- of +18.

Jeff is a winner. he was +27 in 23 minutes last night. YES he was on the ball most of the time. He just makes everyone around him better. Always calm directing people where to be. So the only guy who couldn't see that was David Cox. He has to go just for that offense.

Just looking at some old rosters and stats etc...I kind of forgot that the team improved so much from Wheeler and Mobley's freshman year to sophomore year. I remembered that they were 7-20 (2-14) as freshman, but then they went 20-14 the following year. What an amazing turnaround.

Re: Where Are They Now? Former Player Results and News
Reminds me of my first year at URI when Jiggy and Stan were freshman. I think it was Kraft's 2nd year. They started out 0-14. By their senior year, they came within 1 point of beating Duke in the tourney. Of course, getting Sly when Jiggy and Stan were juniors helped.Rhody_NYCT wrote: ↑3 years ago Just looking at some old rosters and stats etc...I kind of forgot that the team improved so much from Wheeler and Mobley's freshman year to sophomore year. Huh?? 1 for 7 from the field. Lots of standing around on offense.. He is a good player and he would have helped us, but he is not a go to guy. Takes too many plays off

He has been in a shooting slump 1-17 from deep in last 7 games, though is a big contributor on the boards.

Per this site, Iverson was last playing in New Zealand in 2018-19. He had pretty good stats, so I'm surprised he hasn't latched on somewhere else, but obviously the pandemic probably limited international options for him for 2020 and 2021, if he wants to continue playing hoops.LoveThoseRams wrote: ↑3 years ago Does anyone know where the following Rhody players are or what they are up to?

Berry was playing in Finland for the 2019-20 season. I don't think his former team has played a game since the pandemic started.

That's crazy too, such a knuckleball that takes maybe one to 1 1/2 rotations on the way to the rim. But the arc remains pretty and the results are there!PeterRamTime wrote: ↑3 years ago Lamonte Ulmer has been brought up in another thread so I went youtubing and found this!

I claim Curry as Atlantic 10 since Davidson is in the A10
Just like I claim Julius Erving, Bob Lanier, Sly Williams as having roots to teams in the A10 where my beloved URI Rams participate.

....surely you can’t be serious. Did Rhody72 hack your account?
Another ridiculous Keaney Blue Blinders post.
It’s like talking to a brick wall with some of you people who refuse to acknowledge anything neutral or anti URI/A10.
Stephen Curry played at Davidson. Davidson was in the Southern Conference when Curry attended. Therefore, referring to Stephen Curry as an A10 player is about as wrong as a person can be about anything.

Ah yes, let’s call me a PC fan because I don’t claim Stephen Curry as an A10 player because he played in the Southern Conference his whole college career.

When I watch Curry proving to be potentially the greatest 3FG Shooter ever in the NBA I get a nice feeling that he played 4 years at Davidson for Bob McKillop - 31 years with Davidson.
I recall when Davidson joined the A10 that a couple of posters were very down on Davidson - felt it was a big mistake for the A10 to reach out to Davidson. Davidson has made a very good representation in the A10.
So technically Curry didn't play of the A10 and I have no right to be proud of Curry having played 4 years for Davidson.
Neither did Bob Lanier, Julius Erving or Sly Williams play in the A10. My mistake. Should have known that the PC Troll would call me out.

I laugh every time people call me a PC fan.
Imagine having such a Rhody/A10 bias that you call a poster a PC fan/troll because said poster says Stephen Curry wasn’t an A10 player.
What a wild thought process.

Nice little blurb on Lamar and link to a podcast that he just did.
And it is nice to see Rhody15 still showing his love for the A10 and Rhode Island. And please you do not have to ask him whether he is a PC fan, it is a fact. Just look at his post history and it is obvious. I will say this, he does love himself some college basketball, as do I, I could easily go on Friar talk and emulate being an actual Friar fan as I do watch a lot of their games because I am a college basketball fan. But I fail to see the fun in that. And even if I did the truth would come out in certain posts, just like it does with Rhody15. There is no way a true URI fan talks the way that Rhody15 does. Yes he tends to hide it very well, but it is there, the disdain for URI.

A PC fan because I don’t consider Stephen Curry an A10 player.
A PC fan because I don’t expect us to get transfers that are all P5 borderline all conference players.
A PC fan who defended Fatts more than any other poster when the a ton of people here gave him constant shit and defended the stiffs on this team over and over again.
A PC fan because I actually watch and can post about college basketball without ridiculous Keaney Blue Blinders on. Some of you don’t want to care or know anything other than URI basketball (not directing this at you), therefore the insane bias and incorrect takes that comes with it.
Incredible. Get a clue.

BAR, just for shits and giggles, answer this question with a yes or no response.
Was Stephen Curry an A10 player?
And if for some reason you answer yes (I doubt you will because you’re smarter than that), I’d love for an explanation.
And if you answer no, according to some people, you’d be a PC fan.

That's not even taking into account your over the top criticism and crusade against a 19-20 year old kid you don't even know. I used to just chalk it up to you being a youngin and only communicating in life through a keyboard but since some folks here have you cast as a PC troll I kinda like that one better. Who duckin.Rhody15 wrote: ↑3 years ago
Never once did I consider myself “important” or “so smart.”
I tend to remember you puffing out your chest bragging about how much money you donate, so who really is claiming they’re self important?
Anyways, I can be a die hard URI fan, but also have logical, reasonable posts. And apparently, if logic + reason = PC fan, then I can’t do anything to change peoples minds. I’m still trying to wrap my head around me saying that Stephen Curry wasn’t an A10 player makes me anti URI/A10 and a PC fan.
There’s realistic fans of teams, and then there’s unrealistic fans of teams. Not every fan of a team is unrealistic with their beliefs. And all of a sudden if someone is reasonable with their takes and opinions, that makes that person not a fan? Not buying it for a second.
But my God does the offseason suck or what.

This off season seems more like a relief, a chance to start over and hopefully redeem ourselves.Rhodyram wrote: ↑3 years agoUmmmm- The regular season wasn't much betterBlue Man wrote: ↑3 years agoFYI between the lines I don't take anything personally, so whatever argument it was I've already forgotten about it and don't think of you as a self-important d-bag. You're right, 1 out of my 6,300 posts I managed to sound like a self important d-bag in an argument with Blueman. You manage in every other one of your posts to position yourself as the Keaney Blue truth teller all-knowing fan who looks at things so logically and claps back at any "fan" with an over the top comment calling them homers or blinders or whatever condescending take you choose that day. Keep BEATING that drum, dude, don't let it die!Rhody15 wrote: ↑3 years ago BAR, just for shits and giggles, answer this question with a yes or no response.
Was Stephen Curry an A10 player?
And if for some reason you answer yes (I doubt you will because you’re smarter than that), I’d love for an explanation.
And if you answer no, according to some people, you’d be a PC fan.
Here, I'll help... Steph Curry, best A10 player ever.
