I think the defense will have to stiffen. We gave up over 6 yards per carry last week. Can't do that again.
Another tough game. But it seems the CAA is a very competitive league this spring season.

Looks like it’s on Yurview again.
Wish we could be there, but at least they put it on cable.

Did anyone park in Plains and then sit behind the fence to watch? If you went, did anyone make you leave?

It's been like this since the Yankee Conference expanded to 9 teams by adding Delaware, Richmond and Villanova...
Rhody football is always playing a ranked team. BTW, NH dropped out this week.

Right. If this is some kind of issue the CAA isn't the league for usrhodyrudder wrote: ↑3 years agoIt's been like this since the Yankee Conference expanded to 9 teams by adding Delaware, Richmond and Villanova...

What's the problem if we win? Or play .500 ball against strong competition? I'd rather that than play in a cupcake league.RhowdyRam02 wrote: ↑3 years agoRight. This is a horrible result if we are hoping for one of the at-large bids...

It seems to me that this game could be played only if both teams miss the playoffs, as I thought I read that the playoffs begin on April 24. This would also mean conferences allowing non playoff teams to play during playoffs weekend. I haven’t read anything regarding this yet.

I just Googled it and it said that the playoffs start April 18th!JimSidd wrote: ↑3 years ago It seems to me that this game could be played only if both teams miss the playoffs, as I thought I read that the playoffs begin on April 24. That can't be right though. It's gotta be April 24th.
We are ranked 22nd right now so ideally we need to be ranked in the top 16 in the poll to be in striking distance for an at large.
Who knows. At least we are winning! If we do win out it would really suck to miss the playoffs knowing that if it were a normal year we would be in.

A week ago you were predicting a hang over loss vs. UNH and now you are talking play offs??
