Well that was good!
Zen question for my boy bunky, does it count towards my attendance streak if I drove there and stood outside for a minute?

Great team effort. Fatts played under control and didn’t try to do too much. Nice contribution from Shep and the new guys, namely Mitchell and Leggett.

That may be as out of control as i've seen Fatts in a game. Ish looks great! Very poised. And i like Sheppard's demeanor after he made the dagger shot. Harris was an absolute waste of space tonight, but love what the rest of the team gave. We have never had this kind of depth. Plug in Carey (who looks like a Power 5 player), take out Harris and i feel good about us going 9 deep.

If Jermaine Harris is your 4th big man in your rotation that’s a first world problem. Did he look good tonight? No. But he’s very serviceable off the benchsection(105) wrote: ↑3 years ago ....OK......I will be that guy......what do we do with Jermaine......going forward.....?

Had some tough plays down the stretch where seems he couldn't handle the situation. He'll obviously be needed for minutes, but there's just no doubting games like this starts to solidify him being a role player more than a starter.section(105) wrote: ↑3 years ago ....OK......I will be that guy......what do we do with Jermaine......going forward.....?

Leggett and Sheppard.
We have guys who can shoot!
The future looks bright right about now....and the present doesn't look too bad either.
Also great to not have to rely on Fatts so much....and the Mitchell twins more than make up for JH issues.

Not at all, I think we win by 20 without him. Forced errors, bad shots and wasted possessions. Again, I LOVE FATTS, but sometimes his selfishness puts him positions where he has to make up for bad decisions. He makes a big play, but it doesn’t negate the 3 bad ones prior to that big one.PeteRI wrote: ↑3 years agoYou boys might want to reconsider these posts.Rhode_Island_Red wrote: ↑3 years agoToo often he’s as much a liability as an asset.KingstonLane wrote: ↑3 years ago

Re: 12/2 | Seton Hall University | 7:00 PM (CBSSN)
Rhody looking very deep & talented. It's incredible to watch. I still feel like I'm watching some other team. It's a bit surreal to see this team is as loaded as it is. I've never seen this kind of squad for URI before (only been alive for 39 years). Maybe the elite 8 team with Wheeler & Mobley was close if you count Odom being on the team, but unable to play that year. This team seems to have even more "depth" than that one (not individual talent...yet...just talking "depth" at the moment).
Hope this season continues & COVID doesn't get in the way because I'm really enjoying watching this team & watching them have fun playing with one another as well! Seems like they have some great personalities & no selfish guys, in my opinion. They all appear to be pulling for one another. Love it!

What a great team effort. This team has some serious talent all across the roster. Quickly becoming a fan of Ish, kid shows up on every possesion. Sheppard has some serious shooting ability, both off the dribble and catch and shoot opportunities. Can see him hitting a few late game daggers over the course of his career. The twins are going to be a force in the A10, and Malik look to be a swiss army knife on the court. Loving the new additions, and what a job stepping up without Carey in the lineup!!!

Re: 12/2 | Seton Hall University | 7:00 PM (CBSSN)
Good win!
Harris needs to relax more on offense and stop forcing shots. Makhi and Makhel are playing better than him and deserve more minutes.
Sheppard stepped up in the 2nd half. With opponents focused on Fatts, Sheppard should have a great year.
I'm really pleased with the way Fatts is playing. He doesn't need to score 25+ and force his offense to lead this team. He needs to keep his fouling down. He has teammates inside and out who can score.
Ish started slow against ASU, but has been solid since then. Real competition with Jalen for minutes. Both need to keep playing within themselves.
Walker has become the player we expected to see last year. It's tough to join a team mid-season and play up to expectation. The same happened to Lazare and the Pearl.

It's kinda weird seeing the ball go into the post, and you're not holding your breath saying to yourself, as loud as you possibly can silently, "don't put it on the floor!!!" It's a little thing, but it's really pretty big...to me.

Not a great night for Fatts, but I will still take his aggressiveness and tough play. He just needs to be reeled in at times. He is clutch at the line, when we need it.DC_Rams wrote: ↑3 years agoNot at all, I think we win by 20 without him. Forced errors, bad shots and wasted possessions. Best pure shooter since jimmy baron.. so says captain obvious..love to see him get more looks but he was sure money when it counted great team win..love reading the ebbs and flows of the board during a game. Pissed that is one of the highlights of life right now. Pissed that we weren't able to be there ryan center would have been rocking.. here's to hoping opting in gets us some league games.. amazing to see the obvious improvement in this team in a week.. the depth is key. Let's hope they stay healthy..

All types of stuff worked tonight and some stuff could have been better. Nice to be in that position when you win.
Hopefully these guys keep getting better. They can win the A10! (I have started to find more joy in beating the same teams in the A10 every year and not going away in the A10 when it seems that everyone in the A10 and covering the A10 is dying to see Rhody fall from the top.

Ish Leggett is so impressive. Good skills on offense, moves his feet and plays good man defense and plays smart , tough and with confidence. Doesn't look intimidated one bit. He's going to be a huge contributor this year and a star going forward.

He is not quite as athletic but he reminds me a lot of the underclassman version of Tommy Garrick. I hope for a similar trajectory but that is unfair to Leggett.Billyboy78 wrote: ↑3 years ago Ish Leggett is so impressive. Re: 12/2 | Seton Hall University | 7:00 PM (CBSSN)
Yeah the twins really impressed me tonight as low post options that make our offensive versatility so hard to defend. We can score and defend in so many different ways.
Ish has been as good as he has been for over a year and a half. Not shocked to see it coming from balling out in WCAC. Love to see him translate it early to the college game. His improved jumpshot has taken his game to a new level.
Great team win even without Carey. The bubbleville has seemed to accelerate the chemistry building. Which is nice. I would take our record right now seems we learned from those first two loses.
