This team is pathetic. Davidson is not good. Had 40 chances to win that game with the season hanging in the balance and just peed down their leg over and over. The stars failed, the coach failed, the team failed. No character.
This is a Q2 loss. People need to take a breath and relax a little bit. Every advanced metric site had them losing this game. This won't be what eliminates them from the tournament.

We’re better than Richmond though!
Ya, good take there.
Richmond still sucks.

How I feel right now is exactly what I was worried about the past week or so. That was a brutal loss, no two ways about it. Brutal. At-large chance now hinge on either beating a Top-5 juggernaut OR winning the remaining non-Dayton games AND getting to the A-10 final.
That’s to be comfortably in. Anything else and we’ll be sweating it out or worse.

Also why the fuck did walker take 3 threes tonight?
Because Coach Cox was absolutely clueless tonight and let him.
Kid played way too much, he has shown nothing to warrant that much more time than Toppin.
You need 200 minutes to win a game (or in this case 225). Harris and Walker are fine to get some minutes. But situation matters. Walker getting the last 8 minutes over Toppin cost us at least 5 possessions off the top of my head on both ends of the floor. Probably more if I ever feel depressed enough to go back and watch it again.

Our best win is against a team who’s crumbling. This is a big loss at a bad time.

Chin up guys. Richmond's losing by 12 with 3:30 to go, so we're going to hold onto the two-seed.
Dayton 14-0 Rhode Island 11-3
Richmond 10-4
Bona 10-4
SLU 8-6
It could end up a 3 way tie for 2nd and URI might end the #4 seed. The record is first head to head and all three teams would be 1-1 versus one another. I then think the next tie breaker is how a team does against the top team in the league working its way down teams if tied. SBU and Richmond only played Dayton once each and both lost. URI played the Flyers twice. If URI loses to Dayton again, URI gets pushed down in the seeding by virtue of the unbalanced schedule.
Yea, I’m the only one who questioned his IQ. Kid doesn’t get it.
You really don’t observe this team well if you think that Rese “doesn’t give a ...” Blowhard. You must be a delight at dinner parties.
So lackadaisical, zero emotion, zero IQ.
WV game, and then this game fouling in a tie game not knowing the score.
Tyrese has the same emotion every minute of every game. That’s his style and that doesn’t mean he isn’t trying. He had some monster rebounds today by just battling with Davidson... He showed plenty of heart. Horrible mistake on the foul though.

Rese’s court presence isn’t and has never been animated. This is a known fact. You’re completely inaccurate with your observation of him having “zero emotion”. Go watch figure skating or something if you want dramatics and artistry.

We were so fortunate to make it to OT, and we were up 73-70 and proceeded to have several horrible possessions.
I will say: I like how the officials (for the most part) let the players play. Some questionable calls but I’ve seen much worse.
Wow, what a kick in the dick that I’m mad at myself because I knew it was coming. I fucking hate Davidson. Today’s game, the last two times we played them in 2018 and the Gibbs 3-pointer is all basically one 10-hour throat punch from these guys.
martin had a mental lapse, but otherwise had a very strong game. i'm putting this more on the coach than any of the players. how toppin is not in instead of walker in crunch time is baffling. walker has played like garbage in every game outside of his first game here. he is no threat to make a shot. he missed 3 wide open threes. toppin makes one of them for sure. plus 5 fouls on the offensive end of the floor. unreal.
Cyril missed 6 shots tonight and not one of them was from more than 2 feet from the basket. Did we ever try to get the ball down low to Toppin? I would have really liked to see Toppin get some of those passes from Fatts.
Walker did get 7 rebounds (gotta give him credit for that) but...........

PC is crumbling?
Right now that’s our best win.
Did I say that? Yup PC who just beat Marquette today is crumbling.. that makes sense.
No way! Harris gets the tip a lot! He tries hard! He’s tall! He’s gonna come around! His three will start falling!
When will all you people just acknowledge the kid is a goddam stiff.
Never.
Hahahahaha ok buddy, keep thinking Jermaine Harris is the second coming.
Kid stinks, and has stunk for two years.
Let's get a few things straight. First J. Harris is a student-athlete. Second, because of that fact and your pathetic whiny criticism you come off as a major tool.

If you’re an alum, have season tickets, and donate to the program and school, you’re allowed to criticize. Which is what I’m doing.
I’m not going to sugarcoat it and play nice just because he’s on our team.
That’s what’s wrong in today’s world, everyone gets offended with literally anything negative that is said.
Let’s call a spade a spade, kid isn’t any good after people here saying he’d be a program changer.
