I finally had the time to watch this. I hate how much this board over hypes our incoming recruits, but if this kid isn't one of the best players in the A10 by the time he leaves here I'll be very surprised.
His body control and finishing around the hoop is ridiculous. He has a great handle, vision, and his shot has improved. Great defender who makes winning plays.
Also add Juice, Elijah, Tyrese, and hopefully TresBerry to that backcourt.....

On Sunday, as has been reported, St Johns defeated Gonzaga 52-48. Leggett was the high scorer for St John's with 15 as he hit 3 2FG, 1 3FG and hit 6-9 FTs. Miles Stute led Gonzaga with 17 points while Terrance Williams only had 4 points and 5 rebounds for Gonzaga.
Gonzaga is ranked 8th in DC Poll this week.
Tonight St John's plays at (18-2) #1 DC Ranked DeMatha.
Ish is going to get 20+ minutes a game next year, kid looks ready. Getting 20 against DeMatha is not easy. We also just offered #15 on Saint Johns, Amani Hansberry. He's a freshman and was guarding that 7'2 kid, and he also managed to get 18 points. Would love to keep this SJ connection coming
Amani Hansberry is special. Would be an unbelievable get for Rhody if he ends up coming. There will be alot of Power 5 programs interested in him. Extremely good footwork, very patient with his post moves for such a young age. I have seen him dominate several D1 high level prospects that were seniors and he is only a freshman. Especially how high the competition level is in the WCAC Hansberry did not look like the lights were too bright or he did not belong. A lot of instances he stood out. Which is impressive to mention with a kid so young. I also really like Malik Mack (another freshman) from St Johns I think he will be the next wave of good point guard/ guards that have come out of St Johns.

I'm going to watch this game tomorrow at work just to see how good Hunter Dickinson is. 40 is very impressive at the HS level, even if you're 7' plus.
Yeah he had like 3 threes to start the game nothing but net. Kid is going to be a problem in college.

I see a little freshman EC in Leggetts game. Great body control in the air.
I noticed that as well. It's the part of his game that stood out to me the most. He really has a knack for contorting his body to get the ball in the basket from some tough angles with contact. He'll be a good slasher in the paint and will likely draw a lot of "and 1" type buckets (basket, plus a free throw).

Many of us disagree with one another on various topics. I think the one thing that we all agree on is Leggett is a great get for URI and is going to be a big part of the program the next 4 years. He just looks like a smooth player.

When Fatts' passes the torch in next year, it will be to Ish.
If you say you’re a Rhody fan, I know you are my brother. For you have suffered as I have suffered.
I will preface this with saying I have no clue what I'm talking about.
Does Ish's shot (from 3 point range) release from a low point? Or is that just his catch and release?

Looks better than everybody else's shot except Fatts.
We have a long-time poster here who can help him with his shooting technique.....

I'm excited to see him play. Just judging by his tweets and instagram posts he really wants to be here. And we need more players that want to play for URI not the name on the back of their shirt.

A little embarrassing that the program’s official twitter account released a graphic with the kid’s name spelled incorrectly, no?
Yes.
What does it tell the kids friends and family?
Can’t they go back and make a correction?
