Took Davidson’s best shot and rhody is on their heels. Screw all the freshman, I want Cox to take the next step! Win a good one on the road.
Would like to think you're right, but Frampton zero points and Grady 1 for 4 from the floor and 3 points. Plus they missed a bunch of bunnies at the rim. We certainly stepped it up on D the last 10 minutes, but i hardly think that was their best shot.

As much as we want to get on Thompson, Martin is 0-5 all three pointers.
And just missed front end of 1 and 1. Now 1-3 FT.
Agreed - this is noteworthy.
With that said, his shots have been late in the shot clock or in flow of the offense while CT’s have been “hero” style shots from deep, early in the shot clock trying to push the team back into the game.
I respect it but he is not that player, though, quite frankly. Those shots need to be stopped. He interrupts the flow of the offense because he is playing shoot first basketball.
On the plus side.....
- I was very scared that Davidson would back door us to death but it did not happen. Excellent defensive job taking away ypthe passing lanes
- Langevine was a beast, an absolute beast. 4-8 FGs, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 TO, 9 REBOUNDS and 8 points. He is ferocious on the boards, especially the offensive boards.
- Solid play by Dana Tate. Cool, composed, some strong rebounding and defense
- Martin will be fine
I paused the game to put my daughter to sleep. It was 19-8. Been following the score. If I were superstitious I wouldn’t turn the game back on. Oh wait...
Bleed Keaney Blue!

RR02 - there is one of your TOs again! Every time he does that (which is a lot), I think of you now. It’s such a weird thing to do all the time. Like, I get it sometimes but it seems like it is in his head as a thing to do. It’s definitelt a “thing” for him.

No more Preston tonight. Not in a close game. He has no defensive discipline, immediately fouls on a reach in after entering. Love his energy but it needs to be contained.
More Tate, please. He’s had a huge impact on this game

I mean who calls a TO when we just scored?
I like the timeout. It allows you to set the defense and the under 12 comes at the next dead ball, effectively giving you a chance to draw plays to bring it within a possession.
We are close. But we aren’t going to win games like this, this year. Not enough horses, not enough maturation or experience and no sense of who we are - we don’t have a defined style of play or an offensive identity (at least one that works for us - being a terrible three point team that takes way too many threes is not a good identity).
Im going to do my best not to get discouraged. I do believe we will be better next year. As I mentioned before the game, though, I am worried about our minutes distribution - more for what it means next year than this year, but even just for this year I’d take more Harris and Tate and less Thompson and Preston.
We have to get tougher, we have to get smarter and we have to improve our offensive skill and approach. Other than that we are fine, though haha

Fats with no defense on Gudmondsen on that 3. Just hung his head when the ball did not bounce our way and slowly ran towards him. Russell is not having a good game at all.
He can’t hit 3’s and he is getting nowhere taking the ball inside except getting his shot blocked
Going inside to Langevine is money in the bank as the big Davidson Freshman cannot stop CL. Dowtin and Langevine seem to be the only ones who know this.
