Radio pre-game show insinuated that the Richmond coach is very much on the hot seat...garbage right now...too bad. Overall I think we want all A-10 teams to be highly competitive. Tough year for the conference overall.Shinze88 wrote: ↑5 years ago What on earth happened to the Richmond program? Re: 1/9 | Richmond Spiders | 7PM (ESPN+)
I have a similar problem. I signed up for ESPN plus through Roku and I am trying to transfer it over to a new television I bought with built-in Wi-Fi. So far I can’t get it on the new TV I have to continue to get it through the Roku. So the problem may be that you’re paying for it through one provider and trying to access it through another. That’s my current guess on my situation.Taylor Swift wrote: ↑5 years agoadam914 wrote: ↑5 years agoCan you just use the ESPN app on your TV? That'll almost definitely work better than using the crappy built-in browsers that TVs have.Taylor Swift wrote: ↑5 years ago
I'm not sure anyone has a remedy for this, but I cannot get the stream to work on my TV. Phone and laptop is fine (what I'm using). I have an LG 4kUHD with a built-in web browser, literally, EVERYTHING works on this browser except EPSN+. I can type in the URL and get to it, but when I click "log in" it disappears... I am on the page for the game, so I can see the RI & Richmond logos and every live game on the left, just no video. Any thoughts? Complete first world problems, I know.
TV is on Wifi, if I get to the ESPN+ Login it just hangs at "processing request" now. My TV doesn't have the ESPN app, unfortunately. My cable/internet provider is Cox Communications and I have a contour box, which also is app-less. I tried using an HDMI cable from laptop to TV, but it didn't work. It's fine I'm over it now because we're winning

Every team competing for a championship has legitimate centers. I don’t buy the position less game in college. If this team wants to make the sweet sixteen, be Villanova or get bigger.section(105) wrote: ↑5 years ago.......I used to be on that band wagon, but often got beat down here for the game has evolved to five positions less playe4s, and the true fives are not how the game is played, etc, etc.....Rhodymob05 wrote: ↑5 years ago Can we get a true center sometime this decade or the next? I'd say no, maybe Gilyard could spell one of our guards, but it would be Omar type minutes. Golden is slow and clumsy with no perimeter game that I saw, and he cant shoot free throws. I wouldn't play him over Cyril or Harris, but thats just my opinionRhodyRam86 wrote: ↑5 years agoShinze88 wrote: ↑5 years ago What on earth happened to the Richmond program? Golden is preseason A10 First Team! He would start for Rhody. He is averaging 18.4 points and 7 rebs per game. He is a redshirt Soph btw.Shinze88 wrote: ↑5 years agoI'd say no, maybe Gilyard could spell one of our guards, but it would be Omar type minutes. I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that Cox was going to shorten the rotation to 7. Preston will play a few minutes if the bigs get in foul trouble. Omar will play if Jeff or Fatts are in foul trouble or a few minutes to give them rest and Thompson is in foul trouble.

Nice win. Got to get Harris more touches, more involved. His ankle might still be bothering him.
Tate and Martin another good effort. Fatts too.
And Jeff, big time, although 5 missed FT's is not like him. Not worried, he'll get it.
Team might be a little tired, long trip.....and only 7 deep tonight. Didn't open up a big enough lead to get others in I guess.
Any time this team can win by daylight on the road is a good win.

Re: 1/9 | Richmond Spiders | 7PM (ESPN+)
Good to get a road win. Martin is really coming on. He looks very comfortable out there and can score inside or outside. Russell
also made a huge difference tonight . Maybe they could have won the last game with him on the floor. Jeff looks exhausted .
Missing FTs because he is dead tired. Tate also looks comfortable. Not sure how much Harris' ankle is holding him back .We
need him to look like he did a few games ago . hope it is only a temporary lull due to the ankle. surprised we didn't zone them.
Richmond looked lost against Dayton's zone. Overall a nice win . looking forward to Sunday against George Mason . That game
should answer some questions about how the rest of conference play may go.
