The most successful football coach in Brown University history stepped down on Monday.
Phil Estes resigned from his post with the Bears effective immediately. He guided Brown to three Ivy League titles during a 21-year tenure that began in 1998. Estes finished 115-94 overall with the Bears, including 76-71 in conference play.

Brown lures Bryant Coach James Perry to the eastside. He is a former alum Brown QB. Went just 12-10 in his two seasons with the Bulldogs.
