Haha love it!
I hear Coach has a decent relationship with him. Literally been on him since day 1.

Don't think we've ever had a coach live in Westerly.

Depending where he lives here it’s only 20 minutes to campus.

From Westerly? I mean, if you're more in the Bradford area and really flying... Westerly is weird in that there's not really a straight shot to anywhere else in Rhode Island, excluding Charlestown and Hopkinton / Ashaway.Rhody74 wrote:Depending where he lives here it’s only 20 minutes to campus.

Semi-Serious question.
If Cox assuming does not now move to East Greenwich he will be the first since "x" to live somewhere else. Skinner maybe?

Huh interesting I coulda sworn they lived in East Greenwich until very recently at least... Most people i know still seemed to be under the impression they still lived there.
Aside from the Hurley possible move to Saunderstown for a short time does anyone know the answer to my question? I'm sure you'd have to go back to the early 90s, If no as far as the 70s.

Where did Jerry D. and Harrick live? Baron was obviously in EG. Hard to blame them - Anyone with kids, it's a stellar school system, usually vying with Barrington for the top public school ranking from an academic standpoint.EGram wrote:Huh interesting I coulda sworn they lived in East Greenwich until very recently at least... With all due respect I don't see that hype for this Jacob Cox recruit. He just looks much too undersized to play

Re: '24 RI G Jacob Cox (Offer)
I had thought Jerry D lived in the condos across from Scarborough in Narragansett. Baron lived in a development in East Greenwich just off Frenchtown Road west of Rte 2. Hurley lived in a development off Shermantown Road in NK.
Cooley lives off Middle Road in EG. Harrick, Pitino, and Welsh all lived in EG as well. I think Keno Davis lived in North Smithfield. Tim O'Shea lived in his historic house in downtown Newport and commuted for a decade to Bryant.
The head college coaches in RI have lived for the most part in the more desirable towns and typically had some nice digs.

Brown football coach Phil Estes lives in EG. (So too did legendary PC coach, Gordie Chiesa, lived in East Greenwich as well.) Mike Cingiser lived in NK.RF1 wrote:I had thought Jerry D lived in the condos across from Scarborough in Narragansett. Westerly is a good half hour commute from campus. I use to commute from West Kingston to Westerly. Hurley lived in Saunderstown for at least a couple years.

I believe Skinner lived in NK. Penders lived in Narragansett; Tommy Jr. played at NHS.

Hurley lived in the Saunderstown postal zone but no where near the water. A little birdie told me he lived west of Rte 1 off Shermantown Road just a short drive down back roads to URI.
