We got our son one for Christmas from the URI store in the Ryan Center. The only thing that kinda stinks is they don't have the players' names on the back of any of the jerseys...URI'21 wrote:Where can I buy a Fatts jersey??

For my 40th birthday, 28 years ago, my wife called the athletic department and got Claude English’s warmup jersey. Needless to say it is a little big on my 5 ft 6 frame.

Re: 1/24 | Fordham Rams | 7PM
That's awesome. I won, at auction, a 1998-1999 warmup from the Athletic Department. Size XL, but for whatever reason it's a little short on me (I'm 6'3"). I proudly wore it during the tournament run last year in Sacramento and was able to get a picture with Odom and Harrick wearing it in the stadium. They recalled some fond memories of that warmup.neil wrote:For my 40th birthday, 28 years ago, my wife called the athletic department and got Claude English’s warmup jersey. Nice! No pictures yet, but I do have a dark blue # 12 jersey (Martin's #) I bought a couple of years ago. Dark blue, white numbers and light blue trim. Not bad, but I like the current dark blues with the light blue numbers much better.

I have Cuttino's game jersey but can't quite say how I got it
Given he is a foot taller than me it just doesn't fit right, but it may have to get cut and tailored so I can wear it for NCAAs.

My most prized Rhody possession -
A personalized ‘98 jersey
Unfortunately i can’t even fit it around my shoulders. It’s signed by a bunch of the team but most signatures have faded away...except for JD, who of course signed in sharpie....

Re: Rhody Swag - Share Your Best Ram Gear!
I have a '98 game worn warmup half zip - which must've been maurico gay's because it's small on me. Possibly the dopest thing ever.
I also have an 07 warmup that just has RI on it. Couple of old old old school mob shirts and 5 jerseys. More shirts than I care to count, but I did leave my favorite long sleeve behind the bench in Brooklyn. Couple of different hats. 2 scarves. 3 ties. Total normal amount of URI gear.

Picture 1 - The 1998-1999 warmup won at auction a few years back - it's my go-to wardrobe for all URI games
Picture 2 - I was fortunate enough to have Lamar Odom as my coach during 1998 Jim Harrick Basketball camp (I was 11). You'd have a pretty decent amount of interaction with your coaches and then games against the other A10 teams and their coaches (I think I was LaSalle?). The final day of camp I remember not seeing Lamar until the very end and I went up to him for the autograph. He coached a group of 5-7 kids (all 10-11 year olds) so I wasn't sure if he remembered who I was. I remember getting it back with "Zach, It was fun coaching ya!" and being amazed he even remembered my name. He came to URI with all the accolades in the world and treated myself and the other campers as if he was just another guy. He had more energy and passion than just about any one of the "coaches" during that camp. It will always be a really special memory I have.
Picture 3 - A "selfie" with Jim Harrick and Lamar in Sacramento. Again, so willing to be involved and give his time with the Rhody fanbase that made the trip.

Re: Rhody Swag - Share Your Best Ram Gear!
Another note: I got married this past year on March 11th in Lake Louise, Alberta. I was nervous enough with the wedding coming up, but to have the biggest games in 18+ years on my wedding day and the day after put me over the top. I remember watching the semi-final game finish from my phone in the back room right before my bride walked down the aisle. My wife has some family in Sacramento that was in town for the wedding so we immediately made plans for our mini-moon (pre Italy) once it was announced on Sunday they'd be playing in SAC.
It was quite the couple of weeks. I'm not sure anything will ever exceed the immense highs I experienced in March 2017.
Now I just have to convince my wife to celebrate our anniversary somewhere I can watch the A10 tournament!

Washington DC is a great spot for anniversaries. I even hear it's beautiful in mid-march. A bit cold so you may want to schedule activities in a heated building for a few hours each day on the weekend. If I hear of anything cool going on down there then I'll be sure to let you know!Section104 wrote:Another note: I got married this past year on March 11th in Lake Louise, Alberta. I got this cornhole set for my wedding last year. Unfortunately it was too cold to play on our wedding day, but it will get some use this summer. Bought it off of Etsy.com. I’ve also got 4 sweatshirts, 2 jackets, too many t shirts, and a winter hat and gloves.

After the Syracuse win, my buddy and I walked over to TF Green to greet the team when they flew back. I was a 14 year freshman at LaSalle and I was surrounded by PC fans up there. My buddy and I were so fired up to see them come home. People were lining that old spiral staircase in the old terminal and the cheerleaders were doing their routines right there in the terminal. I'm not sure exactly where I got this poster, (probably the bookstore), but it hung on my dorm and Fraternity walls during my time in Kingston.

My Bell Atlantic 1999 A-10 Champs T-shirt. It sits in a box on a shelf, only to broken out for big games now.
This "Memories of Keaney Gym" poster by Frank Galasso was available in the bookstore as well.
All of these items have survived through multiple moves over the years. I'm glad this thread popped up so I could share these pictures
