The shots are going to start to fall in the second half. We’ve shot 39 fg to their 21 and we’ve got 5 turnovers to their 14. They’ve shot 17 ft to our 2. Im still confident we’ve got this.
Why is Robinson playing hero ball?
He's had 10 shots.
Fatts has been a non-factor.
26% shooting. Bama 52%. UGH!
Putrid interior defense and offense,
a major problem.

with those shooting %s is 17 free throws to 2. you would think we would be down 23 at the half.
We need to continue to attack the rim with Stan and Terell and have our bigs crash the boards. Too many jumpers in the first half. We can’t continue to do that because of their rebounding advantage. Smart possessions and we do need Berry or Cyril to give us something in the post.
Negatives:
- We can't throw it in the ocean. Some quality looks too.
- As soon as we get a run going Bama realizes they can get a deep entry pass and easily score inside. Why they haven't figured out that this should be their offense all the time? I'm not sure but I'm not complaining.
- Looks like streaky JT is back. And speaking of JT, IMO he's being too casual with the ball. A lot of good players do it (EC has been guilty of this). Thinks his athleticism will always win out leading to either a turnover, bad shot or failure to break down the defense.
- Does Preston have stone hands? I ask because Jeff missed him twice on what would have been a perfect alleyoop opportunity.
- Akele, Berry and CL have all been brutal on the offensive end.
Positives:
- I don't think Bama is a good basketball team. They're a collection of great athletes that are very careless with the basketball, they shoot free throws poorly and our guards are constantly breaking them down (we're just not finishing). I still like our chances.
- Jarvis looks to be picking up confidence.
- The cold shooting hasn't negatively impacted JT's defense.
Neutral:
- Sometimes when a team is cold shooting its because theyre not getting quality looks. I don't believe that to be the case here.

This is legitimately one of the worst basketball games I've ever seen. If we could somehow figure it out here we could run away from them. I don't know how good of chance there is we figure it out suddenly mid-game.
"If you build it, they will come." --Us, circa 2011
following this team is maddening.... i mean how could we look so bad against a team we "should" be handling, the effort and execution SUCKS .. as disappointing as it gets... trying to look at the positives, but I cant find any... a wasted opportunity seeing how they are playing without their best player
Opposition bigs running the floor for easy hoops.
Is langevine hurt worse than we know?
Berry can't chase at all.
Dowtin's been horrid.
3rd game in a row Terrell hasn't played well.
Cut it to 3, and collapsed.
Shit show game.
Man i always say we can be hard to watch when we are bad
WTF is up with Dowtins shot? I was all exited because it looked so much better after in the season opener, Feels like it's been regressing every game since then.
I couldn't get any stream to work for me tonight (on three devices, not my doing). Got a text from my college roommate when I told her it wasn't working, "Be so happy you aren't watching this".
