Idiots out in force.
Did you know a YUGE percentage URI students are really PC fans?
I'm sure there's a few, but surly not to the extent
that their board thinks.
Some wild comments on both sides. Ugh!
It's just that we feel so bad they lack any student fans we loan them some of ours.
Tough to take anything seriously from that glorified high school. Pretty bad when my HS (EP) is within 1000 students of them.
And most of their fans don't even know where campus is let alone ever set foot on it

I don't think that a lot of them went to high school either...
When you examine Coach Hurley's public statements about today's game with Providence College, it almost seems that the URI coach has decided to adopt a very low-key, enthusiasm-dampening style of expressing himself whenever he talks about today's game.
Not that this is an actual quote from Hurley, but as a parody I wrote:
“I acknowledge they're the next opponent.
They're certainly a good opponent, a talented, talented basketball team.
Great people around that organization, it'll be a good game."
For a more concrete example, take a look at the ProJo video below, and, as you listen to Hurley, keep an eye on the Ryan Center maintenance crew in the background:

I never could have imagined that 7 games into the season Fatts would be such an important part of this team already. Seems to be the only guy out there who isn't playing scared.
