Best backcourt in A 10
I obviously voted for EC and JT, I think they are being disrespected with only 15 % of vote when I read

A big part of the strength of the URI backcourt is that it goes beyond EC and JT. Including Jarvis, Dowtin and Stan gives us a lot more quality depth in the backcourt, which in my opinion, makes the backcourt better than that of the other A10 teams.

If you look at backcourt as the two that spend the most time bringing up and handling the ball...wouldn't it be Dowtin/Matthews?

Although EC and JT will not be our backcourt, I am just looking at the caliber of players. No doubt SBU has great backcourt, but I will take Terrell and Matthews any day of the week.

The backcourt these days should be 3 guards.
To not have the PG listed for URI makes no sense at all. He is the Most Guard like player bringing the ball up the court and running the team

Agree with swat. One of the basketball mags rate front courts and back courts. I assume they will evaluate with more than two.

When you have 5 guards of which any 2 could start on most teams, you have the best backcourt in the conference.

Re: Best backcourt in A 10
To me it isn't even close. Last year we were ranked the 11th best backcourt in the COUNTRY during NBCSports preseason rankings, and I expect we'll be ranked pretty high again this year. We absolutely shut down Mobley when we beat them at home and in the A10 tourney. To even think Adams and Mobley and whoever the hell else they have are better than EC, Jared, Stan, Dowtin and Jarvis is just laughable.

Overall we have the best backcourt in conference.
If I had to pick one guard that I would want on my team in the entire conference it would be Jaylen Adams.

Mobley was 1-14 in the two games we played them.
Adams scored over twenty both times, but JT absolutely demoslished him defensively.
Nuff said.

Adams isn't better than EC.
EC's skills and attitude have given birth to the best team in the A10. I would say arguably the best program too.
It's a poll though. SB fans are pretty active online.

Lets face it. As a whole no team in the A-10 can touch our full back court.
