BLUEMAN'S ABSENCE, EXPLAINED
Our good friend, Blueman had a very shocking thing happen to him
Saturday.
Some cretin blindsided him and bashed him in the face with a bottle.
He has a broken orbital bone and eye damage.
Luckily, his eyesight is not impaired, but he will need
surgery when the swelling subsides.
I'm sure all here at Keaney Blue, will send our prayers
and wishes for a full fucking recovery.

Oh man Jay, please be well.
Rod, thanks for the info. Did he go to the George Mason game and it happened there?

Damn!
What a coward. Hitting someone with a bottle like that.
Hope he gets his....
I hope his face can heal back to normal.
That really sucks. That's going to be a painful recovery.
Keaneyblue's finest have been getting the short end of the stick here lately...

Yeah it's a terrible thing. Haven't been able to speak to him much, but I know he was happy with the way we played last night and obviously knows we need do a lot more for the bid. Section 205 we need to be extra loud for Jay on Saturday he will be missed!

Good news!
Blueman's surgery went well, and he's in recovery.
His wife Alicia asks that his privacy be respected during
his recovery period.

Re: BLUEMAN'S ABSENCE, EXPLAINED
A Fordham loss and a bottle to the face couldn't kill me.
Thank you all so much for the thoughts and posts. Missing a home game made this suck that much more but being in the building for a win Saturday would be worth it.
To be fair I'm sure at some point I would've said I'd take a bottle to the face for an NCAA birth...certainly not asking for another but I'm hoping one will suffice. Been undefeated since...

That's why I should live in RI... We'd be the loudest fans in 205 and we'd make sure crap like this would never happen again. Damn cowards.

I know, but I got to cheer with him during the Dayton game and I wanted to get some humor in an otherwise crappy situation.
