Re: Keaney Blue Fantasy Football League!!!
Can we just compromise and use a FAAB system? It is by far the most fair. I do get wanting to keep people interested, but if you're actually fighting for a playoff spot and you NEVER have access to one of the best four or five waiver pickups every week it is infuriating. You can't get better, and you can't do anything about it like you could in a rolling waiver situation by holding out and moving up. So between reverse standings and rolling waiver, I think rolling waivers are more fair - theoretically everyone gets a chance to get the first waiver claim. But, having said that, FAAB is much more fair than either one - every person gets a chance at every player on waivers, and it comes down to how much you value the player.

Re: Keaney Blue Fantasy Football League!!!
I don't even feel like debating it mostly because if we change it to whatever you don't like you're out, that's lame, it's also a threat and a strong arm move on your part, you should probably just leave the league just for threatening as much. Not really, but it is a lame reaction. FAAB is fine with me, but on the fly, mid season? I don't think so. So, I guess the twisteds and billy squires of the league will just have to wait a few more weeks and accrue a few more losses before they can get a decent waiver spot, at which point they will be out of the play-off picture. Good luck everybody, Have fun.

Are you more after the WR or the RB? Because I would probably do it if we included Robinson or DT instead of Cooks, but I am probably going to try to hang onto Cooks.twisted3829 wrote:TP i sent you a trade

Ugh want to pick up Winston to play this week but since he was just dropped he's on waivers until friday...but he plays Thursday
I could change his waiver date tomorrow since he plays tomorrow then everyone would still have a fair shot at him and hes available for his game. Right now he'll be on waivers until Friday but he plays on Thursday so he'll be on waiver until next Tuesday

Re: Keaney Blue Fantasy Football League!!!
no silly, i dropped him on purpose because he plays tomorrow, knowing he will be on waivers until next week. I could have dropped dak, but then someone could use him this week.

Sorry! I really limped to the finish line. Will not be surprised if I get my butt kicked in the semis.

Go figure, I have my lowest score of the season during playoffs. My team laid a big, fat egg.

Great drama in my win vs Tyrodosaurus Rex. I face The Weather Mannys who also upset higher seeds to reach the championship game.

My team laid an egg. My high scorer was a guy I picked up off the scrap heap 10 minutes before the game.

Yea that Monday night game was fun to watch with both of us having two guys playing in it. Stewart and Jackson both had solid games for me but just couldn't get in the endzone.ATPTourFan wrote:Great drama in my win vs Tyrodosaurus Rex. I needed 17 points from Kelly and Cousins in a 14 team semi and barely squeezed by. Was thrilled when Crowdeer fumbled

Have a decision to make in my ESPN standard league, now that Julio is back. need to pick 2 of the 3: Julio, Dez, Doug Martin. Who sits? FYI my other backs are Murray and Kelly and my other WR is Evans. Comments?

Re: Keaney Blue Fantasy Football League!!!
championship match is crazy close with a quarter left in the MNF game. It's currently Running Rams 99.28 (with Dak playing) vs ATP 99.02 (with Golden Tate going)
if the consolation final SG is kicking my butt after have 3 players with 30 points...

Greatest day of my life!!!! (barring stat corrections)
My dead relatives must be very proud of this accomplishment, smiling down from heaven, "look at our little champion!"
I think Prescott's gonna be my keeper...in round 12! Going for league dominance, predicting a repeat.

Do we actually have a belt because that would be hilarious! I would legit contribute to purchase a Keaney Blue Championship belt.Running Ram wrote:ATP!!!Lets get it on!

we don't, but we should. The league is very prestigious, we should have a grand ceremony and an award presentation.

Great championship. Sucks to lose by a half point but I won by a close margin in the semifinal.

I sneaked in and got lucky, didn't even score 300 pts in 3 play-off games. Another fun season though, thanks to Twisted for keeping the ball rolling...
