Hope the "banged up" guys is nothing serious. Last thing we need is some injuries right out of the gate.

Yeah, never heard of that before. Interesting. Why not just call it an exhibition game and sell tickets?
If you say you’re a Rhody fan, I know you are my brother. For you have suffered as I have suffered.

Don't know for sure, but maybe just so they can make it alot more informal. Maybe not play full halfs, setup certain situations, stuff like that.Blue Man wrote:Yeah, never heard of that before. Interesting. Why not just call it an exhibition game and sell tickets?

Re: (We talkin' 'bout...) Practice & Scrimmages
Harrick had his teams scrimmaging against each other at the end of the practice cycle.
He brought in refs and used the clock and timers.
This is usual proceedure to get players ready for game situations.
Never knew what CFL did, because he ran a covert operation.
Scrimmages against other schools must be something new, I guess.

Never knew what he did? Based on the product on the floor I'm sure we could figure it outrodfromcranston wrote: Never knew what CFL did, because he ran a covert operation.

I read a book about Van Breda Kolff at St. Bon. he was so paranoid that he had the janitor removed from the gym once because he thought he was spying on the team.
"Every season, college basketball has one or two teams that rise from dormancy to relevancy, squads that make long-awaited charges at the NCAA Tournament and become really fun storylines along the way."

It's an NCAA violation. Exhibitions with fans have to be played vs. non-NCAA D1 teams.Blue Man wrote:Yeah, never heard of that before. Interesting. Why not just call it an exhibition game and sell tickets?
Scrimmages vs. D1 opposition have to be held in empty gyms and without charging...these are not open to fans.
