Thanks to Native!!! She has consistently provided excellent write-ups about our opponents for several seasons now and his work is well appreciated.

End zone GA is $8 for this vs the usual $14
I might have to mosey on over - last nights dismantling of St Johns has me curious.

Figured I would check in with the board today. Just to check if the starting center decided to retire or something. You know. These things happen.

Jordan Hare reference? His announcement was not before an exhibition. It happened 11-15-14 on the day of the actual opener vs Pace.

Back in the mood for some hoops, beach, boat fish done. Can't wait for the first eyeball test on the new guys, under game conditions expecting a win and not close. Interesting to see what the refs do/ don't do in the rule emphasis this season. Looking for big things this season, and hours upon hours reading everyone's posts. Back and feelin good, Go Rhody!

I stand corrected.
On a serious note, it will be interesting to see the starting lineup. Watson or Iverson.

I wasn't going to mention it, but since someone else brought him up, Jordan Hare is still listed in the directory as a student. And if you're thinking that that's just because they haven't gotten around to deleting him, Gil Biruta isn't in the directory. So how are our walkons looking this year???

Re: Exhibition - St. Thomas Aquinas (Friday, Nov. 6 7PM)
Little surprising that the student radio WRIU 90.3 and RIU2 don't have it. They usually carry home games for everything, even men's/women's exhibitions. Felt like the game was announced a little late this year, maybe they'd already made their schedule..?Rhody74 wrote:If I recall correctly, I don't think they usually broadcast exhibition games.adam914 wrote:Surprised there isnt at least radio for this one.

Re: Exhibition - St. Thomas Aquinas (Friday, Nov. 6 7PM)
The startling stat in the STAC game versus St. John's was that STAC had 75 shots versus SJU at 49 which reflected the 27 TO's committed by SJU. STAC also had incredible 3PT shooting, many were like knives to cut SJU comeback attempts.

JT from Iverson breakaway dunk and 1 down 9-8 early. This is a very skilled and well coached opponent.

Re: Exhibition - St. Thomas Aquinas (Friday, Nov. 6 7PM)
48-38 halftime.
STAC strong finish from 45-30 down including a long buzzer 3.
1/2 time thoughts?
4 can handle seriously against pressure too
Martin has worked on post skills=impressive
Watson looks more athletic
Iverson plays hard as does whole team
ARD very active coaching on bench especially bigs
Building looks good, uniforms nice....team is solid.
Big year coming...

Looks like a 9 man rotation. Surprised Berry didn't get any minutes in the half, especially in an exhibition game.
