Re: '15 NJ PF Chris Silva
Would love to get either Silva or Enoch. Don't see Enoch happening, but it is nice to be involved in conversations where we're mentioned with the defending national champs competing for the same recruit.

If UConn lands Stone, Enoch could fall to us.
Why not both, Sliva and Enoch?

I doubt he visits South Carolina, us, and Kansas State all in a month. Hopefully we get a visit and not Kansas State.

A lot of Seton Hall fans feel he's a lock to be a Pirate. I feel otherwise at this point.

As I said before, couldn't ask for a better week to visit Rhody. Is Silva like an Outerbridge player? We could use some jump in a forward. Either way, let's get the commit on friday. Go Rhody!

He's got an uncle that lives in Boston who he is consulting about his recruitment, so that could be a factor.

Re: '15 NJ PF Chris Silva
Silva was MVP at this year's Rumble. Impressive stuff.
http://www.hardwoodinsiders.com/2014/06 ... the-bronx/
The Rumble would not have been complete without a thrilling finish. The 17 and under championship game between Sports U and the Iowa Barnstormers provided just that. Both teams were exhausted from playing their Final Four games right before the championship. However, fatigue did nothing to slow either team because they both came out with a high level of intensity. From the start of the game Chris Silva showed exactly why he has been sought after by nearly every college coach on the east coast. Silva displayed his freakish athleticism and high motor every time up and down the court. On the defensive end he contested every shot and on the offensive he got his hands on every offensive rebound. And when he caught the ball in the post he faced up and blew by defenders. Also giving Sports U a big lift was class of 2016 forward Matt Bullock. He has a game that is very reminiscent of Anthony Mason with his ability to handle the ball on the outside coupled with his broad frame that it is nearly impossible for a guard or forward to defend. Even with Silva and Bullock leading the way, Sports U found itself trailing for most of the game. That is when guard Matthew Zignorski stepped up and provided the spark that changed the game. Ziggy’s outside shooting brought Sports U back into the game and helped send the game into overtime.
Even after fighting all the way back to send the game into overtime, Sports U found itself down one-point with seconds left on the clock. Sports U drove the lane, fumbled the ball and managed to get up a shot that went clear over the rim. Fortunately for them the ball floated right into Donovan Wright’s hands and he tipped in the ball as time expired. With Wright’s tip in, Sports U took home the 2014 17 and under Rumble in the Bronx crown with a final score of 54-53. Chris Silva was named MVP. Sports U will next compete in Seton Hall’s team camp.

Chris and staff just walked into the RC 5 mins ago. Will be taking a 2 hour tour of all facilities this am and then get some run with the team in the afternoon. Perfect day for it. Beautiful outside and the ladies are out......wearing next to nothing. All you dads out there with college age daughters. idk how u let them out of the house anymore. u have my sympathy.

Re: '15 NJ PF Chris Silva
I'm hearing URI and So Car coming on strong; Seton Hall might be fading; Villanova lurking on the edges; KState unlikely.

Re: '15 NJ PF Chris Silva
For what it’s worth, Rhody just popped up as being warm on the “247 Sports” predictions concerning the recruitment of Mr. Silva. Odd as we did not receive the nod from any of the “experts.” We are now positioned between South Carolina and Seton Hall with former frontrunner Villanova falling below Kansas State into the cool zone. Must be based on the official visit I suppose.

Again, 24/7 is a waste of time. Whoever had the last visit
is who they favor.
It's not based on any real information.

247 is not favoring us because of the visit, not one "expert" has picked us (4 Villanova, 2 Seton Hall, 2 So. Car.). The hot, warm, cold indicators are useless on every site.

Not really (http://247sports.com/PlayerInstitution/ ... redictions) but 5 guys did change their prediction from BC to URI a little over a week before Terrell committed.Blue Man wrote:Every expert on 247 also had Jared Terrell as a BC commitBFC wrote:247 is not favoring us because of the visit, not one "expert" has picked us (4 Villanova, 2 Seton Hall, 2 So. This seems consistent with what we've all been hearing. He had The Hall as an almost lock for Silva a week ago.
