For whatever it's worth, Massey ratings have this as a 38-17 loss
Take down the Robert Carothers banner and fix the concession stand lines

People-GA . State is previewed to be average this season. (Which doesn't mean a thing).
But seems like a lot of points (if holds) given Rhodys expectations.

I know it's early but I'm seeing GSU favored by 12.5, 11.5, 3.5 and several betting houses have it 2.5. So a wide range right now.

I feel like it’s so hard to judge a FBS team vs. FCS team but I would suggest that at least this season Georgia State is closer to a top ranked FCS school than anywhere near even a Middle of the pack FBS team. My rationale is the Georgia State was awarded 31 points which places them 6 of 7 in their division and 10 of 13 overall in the Sun Belt Conference. There are no teams from the Sun Belt ranked in the FBS top 25 and only a few that receive any points and they are very low down on the list of teams receiving points. We have an experienced QB and plenty of others who have played against FBS opponents many times now it’s not that big of a deal playing in front of a big crowd. We are as nearly as big on our O and D lines. Another factor in our favor is we playing them as early in the season as possible I wish we still had Warren, Lee and DeShields. Those loses make we think we lose a close one but I will take Rhody and the points.

Warren would catch at least 6 passes against Ga. State.
A road grader blocking too.

They were picked to finish 6th out of the 7 teams in their division

This is a game where Rhody's experience could help them pull off an upset. If Rhody can execute well and not shoot themselves in the foot they may be able to capitalize on some GA St mistakes if GA St is a bad team.

Our issues will be their athleticism. They were a play away from beating Auburn last year so they have some dudes.

Really excited to watch!
