Re: Polls
We've been ranked before in September.
If we can ranked in November, that's playoff time.

Good point! Gotta say it though, the first three maybe the easiest three on the Rhody schedule this season.

Yup. Wins against Bryant, Albany, and Brown don't move the needle based on the teams they have this year. The heavy lifting is still to come

Re: Polls
Rhode Island (5-0) jumped to No. 12 in the Stats Perform poll and No. 14 in the AFCA rankings following its 22-15 victory over No. 9/10 Delaware last Saturday. The Rams, who are off to their best start since 2001, travel to Towson this week.

Re: Polls
This is the highest Rhode Island has been ranked in any national poll since the Rams were No. 9 in the Sports Network Top 25 for the week of Oct. 30 of the 2001 season. That year, Rhody reached as high as No. 4 in the country for three straight weeks. The highest Rhode Island was ever ranked was No. 3 in the season-ending NCAA Division I-AA Football Committee Poll of 1984.

Thought so. I was a student at that time and I remember the place was buzzing during some of those games.ramster wrote: ↑2 years agoThis is the highest Rhode Island has been ranked in any national poll since the Rams were No. 9 in the Sports Network Top 25 for the week of Oct. 30 of the 2001 season. Glory days!!! As a kid, I used to go to those games. To me, it seemed like there were 50,000 people in the stadium.scine20 wrote: ↑2 years agoThought so.
