I like the exhibition games because we do get at least a glimpse of the team before Obidiah's contest . for some maybe they feel it doesn't offer
much in the way of predicting the season, but to me it does give me some clues as to how some of the new players may contribute . I do enjoy that
part of it.

I like that we will get a glimpse of some players that we may not see much of once the season gets underway, particularly the freshmen. I assume there will be a few spots to empty the bench against Long Island, Nichols and Manhattan, probably, but overall the OOC schedule is tough enough that there will likely be fewer of those opportunities overall. I’m also looking forward to seeing the several new guys that are expected to be a part of the rotation - Shepard, Walker and DJ.

Hah! I recall at the Pace Exhibition game the pub was opened. The reason I remember is because I got a glass of wine and could hardly drink it since I had salmonella about a week and a half before. The things that stick in your mind.

Also, trying to think of some kind of plan. I freed my day from any work obligation for Saturday so trying to go to both games.

The Ryan Center is not about the food. Alumni Lounge gives you a chance to have a drink and usually hear from an Ast Coach before the game.

We are excited to welcome back the best fans in the Atlantic 10 to the Thomas M. Ryan Center for another year of Rhody Basketball. The RAMS Fund Alumni Lounge will not be open for the RIC vs. URI Men's Basketball game on October 26th. The first game the RAMS Fund Alumni Lounge will be open is the November 5th game versus LIU.

I agree. It’s not like he needs the PT. It’ll give the younger frontcourt players more experience.

I think in that game he was actually pretty healthy.

Would think it would be more, but it's tough to put a spread on a scrimmage. We may see different line ups as well as throwing out some schemes that they may not have perfected just to get the rotations on film. RIC really fell off a cliff after Walsh left to go to Maine. This isn't the same team that kept it around 20 with us once as well as PC the following year. Last year they brought in a well respected coach in Tom Glynn, leading them to a .500 or so record last year. They are still young and in year two of a rebuild.
