Keaney Blue Fantasy Football
Is it happening this year? Twisted is the commissioner and I haven't seen him post in here in quite a while.

Was thinking the same thing recently, haven't seen twisted in a while. Hope he's ok and hope the KBFFL happens this season.

If folks are still interested, I can set up a new league. Just leave a message here that your in. We don't have a whole lot of time to get something together. The draft would have to be this weekend or early next week.

I will give up my spot, if someone wants it, since I've kind of been completely checked out on football since moving to Texas, haha.

Re: Keaney Blue Fantasy Football
Ok, created the league. Same rules as last years league. We won't do the keeper this year since it's a fresh league. For the sake of just trying to make this easy, I set the draft for this coming Monday night at 8 PM. If this time doesn't work for those playing, message me, and if there is a consensus, I will change it.
The first set of invites went to last year's group. If you get the invite and don't want to play, send me a message and I will send it to the next person who had interest on this forum. The invites were sent to your Yahoo connected account. Please check it. If you don't accept the invite by Thursday night, I will send your spot to the next person on the list.
For new players, there is no buy-in. I think last year we did a small gift card to the winner. I think we will do the same this year. This is more of a just having fun with your fellow Ram fans more than anything else.

I'm in Katy, a suburb of Houston, essentially. Although "suburb" out here still means a 70,000 student school district alone, haha.ramster wrote: ↑4 years agoWhere in Texas?SGreenwell wrote: ↑4 years ago I will give up my spot, if someone wants it, since I've kind of been completely checked out on football since moving to Texas, haha.

Re: Keaney Blue Fantasy Football
Wikipedia says he went to Spring Branch HS in Houston - Spring is a more affluent part of the city, along with the Woodlands. (Kind of like how when people say they're from Boston when they might actually be from like, Braintree or Cambridge or a dozen other cities, that goes on with Houston too.) The scale and the level of the public high school athletics out here is pretty incredible, though. Like pretty much all of the volleyball games I've covered have had multiple D-1 recruits.Billyboy78 wrote: ↑4 years agoIsn't that where Clemens is from?SGreenwell wrote: ↑4 years agoI'm in Katy, a suburb of Houston, essentially. Ok, so I sent a fresh batch of invites out. If we don't fill up by tonight, I will post the league invite here in the forum and folks can have at it. If interest surpasses the 10 spots, I think I can add in a few more.

There was no gift card, just some speculation there would be a championship belt presented to the winner of the league at half-time of one of the home BB games.

Ok, fixed the draft time. Didn't notice all times to select are pacific.
Tea, I sent you a message with the link. Let me know if your in. I think you are in the last spot.
If there is any interest, I can bump the leave to 12 spots if two more want to join. Just let me know.

Um...yeah...about last night...
I may have drafted the worst kffb team ever.
I'm going to blame it on the rain (that never happened). Was supposed to be at Rhody soccer last night, which would have meant auto-drafting.
However, much to the detriment of my team, the soccer game was postponed to tonite, and I participated in the live draft. Pulled a D grade, lowest in the league, including the autodrafters. Going to be a long uphill climb to respectability the middle of the pack.

Sorry to hear that, bud. You're my opponent this week. Even though, I hand-picked my team (and I think you autodrafted) and I've been 'manipulating my lineup' (and you probably haven't).... I'm bad at this, you're probably still going to win this week...ATPTourFan wrote: ↑4 years ago Hey guys I cannot participate in fantasy football this season so please let someone else take my spot in the league thank you

I'd just like to share a little of the feedback I got from yahoo after the draft...
GRADE: D
Led by a Pair of Chiefs, TheRollingStones Should Have Paid for Expert Advice
Draft Summary
TheRollingStones can use their late draft position as an excuse for coming up short after picking in the bottom half of the first round (No. 7 overall). With a projected record of 3-11 (1,609 points), this team strikes fear in the heart of no one. Behind multiple Chiefs in the early rounds (Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce), TheRollingStones are predicted to finish 12th in Keaney Blue FFL.
