Coaches are one aspect of why or why not one thinks a program will be successful, the question is much broader than that. And it could have remained a question of program v program.

The American and the A10 are the same in that just select teams play each other twice. URI, as one of the established good teams in the conference, has some tough match-ups, so that could affect their record. No doubling up against Duquesne or Fordham. The pairings should help URI’s other metrics, though.
