Southern connecticut has an exhibition game against Uconn on Wednesday. It will be interesting to see how they compete.

Last season Southern Connecticut was 17-10. Competes at the Division 2 level. I'm guessing this will be a bit more competitive than the Coast Guard Academy last season.

Friday's exhibition foe, S. Connecticut State played at UConn tonight and lost 93-65. Other than a brief SCSU 3-2 lead, UConn led all the way with Huskies starters each playing less than 30 minutes. DeAndre Daniels had high scoring honors with 21 points. Boatright had 15.

"The Rams are not expected to have Hare in this game, too. He has left the program for personal reasons and returned to his home in Saginaw, Mich. It is unclear if he will return this semester but Hurley is expected to clarify the situation Friday."

Whatever the real reasons for him leaving are, the timing is pretty shitty, that's for sure. Maybe there wasn't anything he could do about it, I guess.

On tonight's game versus S. Connecticut State, a key player to watch is Stefon Williams, a forward who pulled down 10 rebounds in the UConn. SCSU out rebounded the Huskies in that one. Another key starter is guard, Greg Langston who was the high scorer in UConn game with 18 points. First off the bench is Mike Mallory who contributed 13 points in Storrs.

Anyone in the greater Providence area need three nice seats (free!) for tonight's game?
I'm waiting for Dr. Kevorkian to come by, so I won't be making it.
At least if someone uses them, I won't feel as bad about not being there.
